If true I'd take it, but too often there's little reality between what's said to be offered & the actual offer.

Defo take it. He's already gone, so it's not as though it'll affect our season. £11m, or zero in 6 months time. Now is not the time to play hardball. Be thankful someone is daft willing to pay anything considering the contract situation.

if eriksen has lined up one of these £400k p/w deals, then he stands to lose £325k p/w til the end of the season - over £8m, if he stays on this window.

He'd be better off as far as the football goes and his mental heath, adding that ill gotten money to the inter offer, to bring it up close to £20m - the amount Levy supposedly wants - so he can leave right now.

I’m surprised we’re getting anything for him, so any money is a bonus. I would argue that the sooner he goes the better, fee or no fee.

I wonder what effect his lingering is having in the dressing room. For example, would his leaving be a good thing? Is he toxic? Will other players see an opportunity to grow into CE’s role when he goes? It’s surely a distraction at best and toxic at worst.

Financially, he’s going to cost us £5m in wages to the end of this contract. Real money and we can’t rely on him to put in 100% effort any longer. That’s money we could be spending on another player and a squad position occupied by dead wood. Why argue for £6m which could result in a loss of £5m. Kick him out now!

So getting a fee of any kind is a bonus, but I would forego a fee just to get rid of him at this stage.

Given they could get him for free in six months gives you a sense of how highly he’s rated by conte

He’s given us 6 great years for what would be a zero net transfer fee

Not bad biz
