Isco is a special player? Based on what his form 4 years ago because it can't be based on his time at Madrid. The notion that he is a better talent than Ali and would warrant a starting place above is simply just absurd. Isco is a good player, but one that hasnt moved beyond that and at this stage of his career most likely never will.

He has done well for Madrid, just because they have amazing players doesn't make him average, Sanchez couldn't get in the Barca team and had to leave, I feel your greatly underestimating him.

He has done very little for Madrid, his record demonstrates that. He is in no comparable to Sanchez who scored 40 goals in 88 league games and 19 in 34 in his final season, he is a far superior player. I'm not underestimating him,I think he is a good player just one being massively overhyped. He is soon 25 he is entering the peak years of his career and the simple fact is that he hasn't lived up to his potential.

and how is he supposed to live up to his potential when Bale and Ronaldo are 1st choice? and he's competiting with £65m James Rodriguez for some game time. Isco's an excellent player and will flourish at a club where he is more involved. You're also forgetting that Real Madrid ala Chelsea have a habit of stockpiling quality players and letting them rot just so their competition can't sign them.

you do that forcing the manager to play you because you are indispensable...he hasn't done that at Real

Isco is a pretty special player, if he came Eriksen, Alli, Son etc would have a massive task getting ahead of him.

For a manager who has a strict philosophy and has gone on record saying players are paid to train not to play, think he'd be judged on how he performs in training not his reputation.

Not saying he hasn't and I am sure if theoretically Ronaldo came he would have to do something in training. I doubt however Poch would have go nuts in the summer trying to get Isco if he didn't believe he could improve us.

Of course he would improve us but he wouldn't jump into the first team straight away, a purchase like Isco is designed to improve the quality of the squad and to push the already established first teamers.

We've been linked so many times that it could be the next "blue and yellow" transfer

Sure, but just because he may not be as good as Bale, Ronaldo, Rodriguez or Modric in the system Real play, does not mean he's not a bloody good player and wouldn't improve us.

@sam1972 guessing by the thumbs down on my comment that I think Poch is picking the team based on merit - ie who is doing will in training etc. you have a different view? Please share if you disagree.

Alternative views make good conversation while just clicking disagree without sharing your opinion offers nothing
