There are no limits to the number of loanees in the Championship. But you can only start 5 in the team. Sure he will play tom.
Thanks for the info. My brother (who’s a Leeds fan) told me so i took his word for it.

A friend of mine who is a massive Leeds fan told me on Saturday that he doesn’t expect Clarke to get many minutes at all this year.
He said he was nowhere near ready but might get the odd cameo.
Not sure if he was being a little bitter or not. He said he thinks he has a chance to become a good player, but has a long way to go.
I guess we know that anyway - he is so young.

As I said in another thread, with his speed and skill and natural tall frame, I’d be very surprised if they don’t see him as a future wing-forward in the Bale, Ronaldo vein (not saying he’ll be as good before some fool comments or neg reps). Needs to work hard in the gym and develop that explosive strength and v-shape body.I'd be very curious to hear how our coaching staff views him as a player. He's very much playing currently as a chalk on the boots right winger. As we don't really generally play wingers like that any more, I wonder what their future plans are for him positionally.
You can see the talent though. He's big, fast, and skilled.
(edit: just as I posted, he's switched over to the left side to play as an inverted winger)
No long term judgements at all because this is the first time I've seen him play, but based purely on the 70 mins I've seen tonight I wouldn't have been able to pick him out on the pitch as the player signed by a Premier League team. Hopefully just a quiet evening for him and he'll show us the qualities our scouts will have seen in him as the season progresses.
Copied over from the thread in the transfer forums because @he is you know! threatened to throw bleach over me if I kept posting in there:

Likewise. Not sure what you were watching ?
his match highlights from last night
Is Bennett someone you expect to be pushed up to senior level any time soon? By that I mean training with the first team consistently. He looks a proper handful from what I’ve seen of himLooks a good player to me,I like that he can use both feet and he can play a number of positions and that is good news for J’Neil Bennett who likes to play down the left,so long term we can try and make room for both players.
He still has a long way to go , he is my favourite player to watch and I like his attitude for the game, you can tell he is a player that loves to play football and it shows. Is Bennett someone you expect to be pushed up to senior level any time soon? Clarke is a fair size for 18. If he keeps growing might end up as a proper forward. Not sure how anyone can have watched Clarke last night and not been impressed. Bennett is currently injured not sure how serious. For me he’s decent nothing special but just my opinion. You have to consider he’s now competing with Son Dele Moura Lamela Lo Celso Sessegnon Eriksen Clarke as a AM/winger. Any youth is really gonna have to be Sancho Hudson-odoi levels to have a chance in that area. And I’m not sure he’s that. Gonna be hard enough for Clarke to get a look in and we paid £10m for him.
