£200m transfer warchest?2+2=
Yep, said this beforeClearly one for the future. Maybe we loan him back for next season.
Feels like we should be doing at least one deal like that each window. Most will be misses, but you won’t lose any money on young HG guys, and some will be big hits.
He was starting. Substituted at half-time in February after feeling unwell, was hospitalized, and took a couple weeks off before resuming any kind of training.I wonder what we'd do with him considering he doesn't start for Leeds? He might as well stay where he is tbh.
No, was taken off at HT after feeling unwell. He passed out on the sideline in 2nd half... doctors confirmed he was suffering from a virus.Didn’t he pass out on the pitch?
I don’t think he played much this season after that.
This. If we're going to continually ignore any of our youngsters who aren't safe midfield options, we may as well try and buy some.Clearly one for the future. Maybe we loan him back for next season.

For me, judging this one is impossible in a vacuum without knowing what else the club is going to do up front, with more tested top-flight UK players like Ryan Fraser looking Arse-bound, versatile forwards like Josh King, Demarai Gray (and maybe even Harvey Barnes??) potentially available for the right price, and even championship-tested wingers like Dan James looking MUFC-bound. I think it's inexcusable with the squad depth so thin after the projected departures of Llorente and GKN and VJ to bring in a player who can't get in to the Starting XI in the championship for a manager like Bielsa. If young, english versatile forward are the prerequisites I would hope the club would be making all kinds of noise about Barnes and Fraser (and even Gray) and at least trying to gauge interest level there, before shopping on the Leeds bench.This. He’s not long since turned 18 and is in his 1st season in professional football. He has lightning pace, skill and can terrorise full backs. I’m all for signing him but I don’t expect him to be pushing for a starting spot and/or appearing frequently next season. Need the money because they didn’t get promoted probs.Don't really see why Leeds would sell him now for 10m if there's any liklihood of him being worth double or treble that in a year's time tbh. If we bought him I'd expect him to stay there for a year anyway. 10m buys you next to nothing now.
These are the kind of signings our team has been built on. It might take a couple of years for him to be ready for the first tram but it’s better to take a chance now and develop him than wait and not be able to afford him.Watched quite a few LUFC matches.
The kid threatened quite a few experienced players in the Championship with his pace & skill.
Still very raw & another year there under Bielsa will suit him well.
Makes sense for us to buy early & loan back.
Similar managerial philosophy & he'd get plenty more game time there.
That's if Bielsa stays.
