Why would you use Maguire as the barometer? Because it suits your point? Top 6 CBs in the country is an absolute joke. I wouldn't say top 20. I don't see enough facets to his game in which he excels to say he has astronomical potential.
What point are you talking about?

Maguire is the most expensive CB in the PL
He is a fair enough barometer.

So you believe Sanchez doesn't make the top 20 CB in the PL? ....says a lot about you and your point of view.

Your point about his price being a fair one. It's not a fair barometer. It's widely accepted that Man Utd overpaid for Maguire. They paid more than Liverpool did for Van Dijk because sometimes that's how transfer fees work.

And yes, I'd say almost every team has a more dominant CB than Sanchez at his current level. What does that say about me? I don't rate him particularly highly, but what else are you implying?

£45 M is a fair price for his potential he is 23-24 we got him at 21 . Maguire cost 90M. If I'd had the choice between the two I'd pick Sanchez all day long....others may disagree I would put Sanchez currently in the top 6 CB in the league.

I would decline them both.
