I know what you mean but I’m concerned what two starts in 4 days will do too him. coming off the bench has worked well last Thursday and I’d be up for the same and then have him start against the palace

It could be that he's 'saved' for Palace. They're likely to sit back in numbers so his ability to create, run at defenders and shoot from distance could be more useful on Sunday.

That's on the basis it's too risky to play at least 70 mins three times in seven days. Given his lack of football these past 2 years and a problematic calf, we need to be careful.
