Jose Mourinho has given good indication that Tanguy Ndombele can turn his Tottenham career around by saying the record signing is "working better than ever".

Or to put it another way, "no-one will give us what we want for him, so we better make the best of it" ;)
Maybe but either way it's good news. Perhaps he knows that even if he moved he'd still have the same issues. A new club wouldn't necessarily solve anything for him.

Here he has a club that has invested massively in him, he's on huge wages, great stadium and facilitaties, world class manager, and the creative mid spot in the team is his for the taking if he sorts himself out. That isn't such a bad situation to be in.

He'll want to play in the Euros next summer and that isn't happening if he's unprofessional and/or sits on the bench most of the season.

So one of the last episodes of All or Nothing has a showdown meeting with Daniel?

The bonus episode is just him signing a new 7 year contract and everyone revealing the last 9 months of Tanguygate was just a windup...

That little highlights reel in the article shows what an incredible talent Ndombele is. There are also plenty of instances of him tracking back and making important tackles and yet a few minutes of lethargy against Wolves seem to have defined his season. I so want him to turn it around and silence the critics and hope Mourinho gives him the chance to do it.

Really hope this is true. There’s a special player in there if his attitude and fitness get to a premium level.

I think Jose will continue to say the right things about Tanguy because he knows he can be useful. But until Ndombele decides to show up for a match and put some effort in, I don't really give a **** how hard he has been training.

I agree actions speak louder than words but if reports of him training hard are true then surely this will help his match day efforts.

splendid reminder - if he stays fit and if jose can tweak his methods to get the best out of TN, he will really be a Dembele 2.0 for us

Certainly showed today. Immense 20 mins from him.

Looks like he’ll have 30 mins in him soon...
