Sky is the limit for this kid. Can hardly remember to see a defender being that ridiculously good and bad at the same time.

A bit more muscle and if he can just clean up his game a bit, not so much that he loses that uniqueness, but just enough so that he can manage on a regular basis in the PL. Like a younger Luiz. Yes, there will be mistakes, but the overall cost/benefit is still positive.

Imagine Foyth passing the ball to N'Dombele? It would be impossible to play the high press against us then.

And of course. Love the comments. Right attitude - whatever happens.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens - does Jose cash in, knowing that there is interest and use the money elsewhere or does he see enough potential that he won’t want to let him go, particularly to a PL rival?

I too like the boy & I wouldn't mind seeing given an opportunity, even as a RB, but I'm not sure Jose feels the same way.

My mind always goes back to the away at MCity a season or two ago when Poch put him at RB for the 1st time. I thought up against Sterling what are you doing? Foyth hardly gave him a kick all game & kept him incredibly quiet & I realised then that Poch had spotted something I hadn't seen in the boy, unfortunately, injury prevented him from proving whether he was a solution long term.

I reckon he'd be a superb answer to our right back issues, from accounts he excelled in this position for Argentina

Definitely think he has far too much potential to just give up on. Some of the errors he makes are clearly down to lack of sharpness.

When speaking about Foyth, I always refer to that League Cup Final against Blackburn where a young Ledley had a stinker. Not saying Foyth is the new King, but if you ignore potential in young defenders too quickly you could end up looking daft.

All of our defenders have made mistakes this season. It goes with the territory. Foyth's the only one who's got kicked to the curb though. As you say, the sky's the limit but I fully expect Mourinho to bin him :banghead: :banghead:
