I would keep him, I still think he will come good, maybe needs a few games on the trot, couple of solid performances then he can really take off. Our only centre back who’s confident enough bringing the ball out now Vertonghens gone but If we have too then loan.

Tbf I'd cash in just because i can't see how he's ever going to be trusted. Thing is, he brings a bit of pace that our central defence is severely lacking at the minute unless Sanchez is playing. But with Jose's love for Dier and the big contract handed to Toby, Foyth just won't play

If we're going to be playing with 3 CBs, the best thing we could do with Foyth right now would be a season-long loan, ideally to another PL club such as Leeds where he might get some game time.

In reality, if our CB options are Toby/Tanganga/Dier/Sanchez/Davies, the chances are at least one of them may leave in the next two windows. Toby doesn't have age on his side and we saw how quickly Jan declined, and there's no guarantee either Dier or Davies are going to settle into that role long-term.

I think we could regret letting Foyth leave permanently in the not-too-distant future if he moves on during this window.

That would be a mad move for Fulham. He has some talent but that defence needs a lot of work and a virtually untried player wouldn't be my first choice.

We need the money for Foyth imo so I think the solution should be a permanent sale with a buy back or fat sell on %

Loan if we can afford to go without the money IMO
Agree, purely because I think he'll become a tremendous CB who could be very useful to whoever takes over after Jose.

That said he'd be returning from loan on the last year of his contract which is what I'm assuming the club want to avoid.

Perhaps a sale with a buyback included to one of the Prem clubs that have been rumoured to be interested in him.

If they sign Foyth.........going down, going down, going down.........he really isn't the solid kind of defender they need.

He wont be the only reason they will go down though,if they go down.
I think he can shine as part of their team. Pressure is not much as everyone already expects Fulham to go down

I get that, but Foyth's consistent brainfarts and overrunning and losing the ball, giving away penalties, is hardly going to help Fulham's cause.

I feel like a loan to Ajax or one of the mid-level teams in Portugal or Germany would be really good for him. I would worry about loaning him out to another PL or Championship club, as it is clear that he struggles with decision making. And when you are consistently making mistakes it fucks with your confidence. He needs to be playing in a league that perhaps gives him some breathing room. Where the expectations aren't so intense. I still strongly feel that there's a player waiting to burst out. He just needs a year of playing regularly to reach a level of consistency needed to succeed in the PL.

We have tried him 22 times and Argentina a dozen times in the past 2 seasons. Not sure where the "virtually untried" cutoff is but he has played 5 champions league games, which is probably more than most defensive options that would be attracted to Fulham.

Certainly a gamble but there's a lot of upside there.

I would say its because he hasnt got run of games to play. When he joined he didn't even play 10 competitive games. Poch never game him a run and Jose didnt either. Only team which has been consistent and given him chance is ARG national teams - where he has been brilliant.
He needs a manager that trusts him and give 10 games in a row.

Foyth has serious talent imo selling him would be a mistake. He is still young and developing, a loan deal would be great. Right back could his immediate position later transitioning to CB.

I think selling with a buy back clause would be best case scenario, gives us immediately needed money, means we don’t have to pay his wages whatsoever, give tanganga more of a chance in the first team and means we would assumingly have first chance on bringing him back

I don't know where the cut-off is either but I'm assuming Fulham would be looking to play him every week and he's not done close to that before. You would think they would be looking for a bit more experience.
