It's all relative. For me we dont create enough chances for all these amazing fantastic forwards we have
Our main problems over the last 5 years had been our inability to convert chances the team created. Scoring is our problem, we had always created many chances unless when we were playing very poorly.

Gards (offline): "So the hold up with Piatek
We want an option and Milan want an obligation, everything else is agreed, loan fee etc.
Problem is the above is a pretty big part of the deal
Milan are no fools, I expect 6 months with obligation is what they are after"

Main Obligation i want is that in the summer they have to sell us Theo Hernandez !!!!!! ♥

Really think if we lineup with Ndombele, Lo Celso, son and bergwijn around him he’ll actually be really good for us.

Many of the goals here rely on good service - rather than creating a chance out of nothing (which a similar vid of Willian Jose showed a lot of).

Bergwijn has 10 assists from 16 games (according to his Whoscored.com profile). Crosses, corners, through balls, pull backs and Piatek can be there to tap in. The other three you mention are great link up options. If Piatek is to be the one, let's hope it works out. Seems to have gone off the boil a bit with Milan. They lined up with Zlatan and Leao this weekend, Piatek didn't come on.

Did a little forum digging to see what Milan fans have been hearing, apparantly they’ve found some reports from Poland saying that our bid is 10m loan fee, plus option to buy (undisclosed).

Yeah, it's from a journalist really close to Piątek's agents. We've made an official bid, but Milan are waiting if somebody else wants to buy Piątek and pay 30 mil (I guess they wait for Chelsea or Crystal Palace).

10m loan fee isnt that a bit too much?

I assume it will be a high loan fee based on an option to buy as opposed to a smaller loan fee with obligation.

We'are probably paying them slightly more to keep our way out of the deal live should it not work out. That's how I see it, similar to the Lo Celso deal where we paid £14m or so loan but the perm option thereafter was reduced.

Does it say how long the loan would be for? I can't see us paying £10M for a six month loan, so I guess it's eighteen months or two years?

But I would suppose the player himself would have some influence over where he ends up. Who cares if CP want to pay 30m, if he doesn’t want to go there. Hopefully his pref is for us.

We enabled betis to get one over PSG by paying a big loan fee because PSG are due a % of transfer fee so structuring the deal the way we did means that PSG only get a cut of the fee we've to pay this month.

Agree re 10m being high, doesn't sound right to me.

True but we didn't make it an obligation to buy, just an option meaning we gave ourselves outs. I'm sure Betis would have demanded a higher loan fee for the option instead of obligation as a safeguard which I assume AC Milan will be doin as well if true.

Few of the ITK's on here are saying it's an obligation with Gio so that we have to buy him and that the way the deal is structured is that if we wait until summer it's dearer than it is now

Mourinho came out the other day, after the Southampton game I think saying no obligation, only option with Lo Celso I think. Probably a clipmon YouTube floating about or a quote on Twitter or here even.

Hard to know whether that's a bit of man management from José giving Gio a bit of a boost by basically stating the wants to sign him.

Anyway, here's hoping we get a bloody striker in. Could be a very good Friday(y)
