I predict 8 straight wins:
Sept 13: Everton (H) - A Team 2-0
Sept 17: Loko Plovdiv (A, UEL) - B Team 0-3
Sept 20: Southampton (A) - A Team 2-1
Sept 22: Leyton Orient or Plymouth (A, EFL) - A Team 1-4
Sept 24: Botosani or Shkendija (A, UEL) - B Team 0-5
Sept 27: Newcastle (H) - A Team 4-1
Sept 29: EFL Cup R3 - A Team 0-1
Oct 1: Europa League PO - B Team 0-2
Oct 3: Man Utd (A) - A Team 0-1
Great start...no offence

Will be interesting to see what team Jose puts out. Europa League clearly a priority as it yields a CL place and the squad needs mid-week European football. Hart, Foyth, Sissoko, Alderweireld, Ndombele, White, Cirkin, Sessegnon, Aurier, Reguilon, Dele, Bergwijn, Lamela, all could do with minutes either to get sharper or as a a shop window. I'd play Lamela as a false 9 (as we did away at Chelsea 3 years ago).

Hart
Aurier Foyth Toby Cirkin
Sissoko White
Bergwijn Ndombele Dele
Lamela

4 away games in 7 days looks fun.

Sept 13: Everton (H)
Sept 17: Loko Plovdiv (A, UEL)
Sept 20: Southampton (A)
Sept 22: Leyton Orient or Plymouth (A, EFL)
Sept 24: Botosani or Shkendija (A, UEL)
Sept 27: Newcastle (H)
Sept 29: EFL Cup R3
Oct 1: Europa League PO
Oct 3: Man Utd (A)

On the bright side, with José saying we have too many players some deft rotation means we will be fully match fit before the rest of the league.

Jose saying Dele will play vs Orient. I think he is trying to tell him something.
Will be a shame if he goes but if it buys us a top centre half ...fair enough.
We certainly need one.
