It's going to be interesting to see how they fare this season. Our own experience suggests they're playing a dangerous game with the recent lack of signings and I wonder if they will go through the same as we did. If they don't, it'll be fun to speculate as to why they got away with it and we didn't.
Their luck to have avoided any injuries of note for the last 2 seasons has to catch up on them sooner or later too. If they're relying on the same 13/14 players for another year it could be very risky.

Just seen Thiago in the traditional unsolicited kit pic - what in Tony Stark is going on with that massive gold plate on the chest? Is that the Champions League cup on it?

That is absolutely hilarious. I mean, yeah, good going and everything, but maybe on the sleeve? Or just the cup? That looks like an armoured plate nailed to their chest. Is that on all of their kits or just a specific one for pictures or european games?

They look to be agreeing a €43m deal for Jota from Wolves...... something not financially right with them.

As context is needed, I went looking for it

It's a bit OTT. I didn't really think the CWC was any more prestigious than the Charity Shield tbh?

Planning ahead. Mané eventually wanna move abroad and preferably play in Spain. This Klopp knows.
Yeah I think this is the last season we'll see Mane, Firmino, Salah. One or more will surely leave next summer, both for themselves (as you say it's common knowledge Mane would like to play in Spain at some point) and I think Klopp will want at least one younger face in that front line, all three of them are 28 and Firmino is very soon 29.

Maybe Sancho is holding out for that?

There have been tenuous links that they'll splash massively on Mbappe who rumour (i.e. Julien Laurens) has it will not sign a contract with PSG so they either have to sell him next summer or let him go for free in 2022.

Sancho would definitely also be an option for them IMO, and almost certainly not as pricey as Mbappe.

Here is another thought; Sancho holding off until Liverpool makes an approach

They made a £30m profit in the transfer market last season so their net spend is quite low compared to most clubs. They also made a load of money winning the champions League, premier League, etc.

I wasn't sure whether he was talking about Liverpool or Wolves.
