Looks like Liverpool might have fielded an ineligible player in the Carabao Cup.

Potential sanctions include expulsion......never a chance that is going to happen!

All going to boil down to whether the player started the game or came on late as a sub.
If he started then surely it’s them out of the cup.
If he was a sub then it will just be a slap on the wrist

Sunderland did the same thing five years ago and got a fine. No bias will come in to it, they’ll get fined just like Sunderland did. Blown out of proportion

So Liverpool think they're bigger than Liverpool, but Liverpool have told them to calm down? :ROFLMAO:

On way to the game so not watching the early kick off but looks like one hell of a strange game from the HT stats

Liverpool are beatable if you get at them and then keep the pressure on. Their fullbacks struggle when under pressure and the team is set up to attack and not defend.

This is what happens when you invest each window I suppose!
More about correct investment. We had a period of around 9 years of doing better than Pool in the league but their spending and wage bill was much higher thn ours.

Klopp and Pep spend correctly.

Utd have similar funds but have bought badly and find themselves trailing.

Easier said than done. If it works then great but if it doesn't you're just allowing space for them to attack, which against their front 3 can be very costly indeed.

It's not just about finding the right plan and stricking with it, Liverpool have so much quality now that they also have to collectively have an off day, like they did in the Napoli game in the CL. It's been a long time since they had a proper off day in the PL.

They’ve also had a very nice run of fixtures in that period. Granted, 16 on the bounce is incredible but, well, I hope half their team break their legs and some never recover. Fucking scum club from top to bottom.
When a complete div like Klopp is your most likeable employee, you’re a bunch of ****s.

It's impossible to laugh at Liverpool now, but you have to wonder about their recent success. The penalty today was just the latest in a long line of incredibly soft awards that have gone their way. It seems that every time their forwards feel a gust of wind in the box they hit the deck and the ref gives a penalty. We've already established that even if it is a (to use the phrase) 'clear and obvious' dive the VAR is never going to overrule the ref. If it continues it would be no surprise at all to see them win the league. And the cup. And the CL. And maybe The Bachelor and the Eurovision Song Contest.

As opposed to our horror run against the likes of Newcastle, Brighton and Colchester? I wish we could play against these 16 minnows that they have beaten in the league...

Yes, LOL at you Liverpool, LOL very much... I feel good now.

Why are you comparing us with them? We’re fucking shit. Utterly fucking shit, right now.

I’m merely saying perhaps Liverpool’s great run is helped by their fixtures? No City, United, Arsenal or even us away in that run for example. Amongst others...
