It was funny listening to Trevor Sinclair this morning......Full conspiracy mode...
He's a fucking idiot.
He was saying how we always fall at the final hurdle and don't win anything, even used the term Spursy...then he went on to say getting Jose doesn't make any sense because he's the opposite of that and a winner.
How in gods name does that not make any sense?

Anyway, looking forward to Durham in a minute with all the Levy/Jose out morons calling in, should be funny.
Edit: Its Goldstein, thats a shame...although that won't stop the idiots riding in.

Was hoping Durham would be on. He was championing Mourinho to us the other week. He obviously couldn't face it today!

Yeah the idiots will be on in their droves.

On a different morning, this morning, 20 November, I was fascinated that he'd had the same kind of thought I had had the previous night just an hour or two the sacking of Mauricio had been announced. Namely, that with Pep Guardiola's contract going to the end of next season, he will need to be replaced. If Manchester City owners are of a mind to do this, then they could sound out Mauricio for such a job.

When they announced the signing of Guardiola several seasons ago, it followed a three-year campaign by them to recruit him. And what a catch he has proved to be. Poch is just the sort of standout candidate that so many clubs would kill for, and he is now available. That he might want to take a holiday from coaching for a period would also dovetail nicely with that club's managerial situation and Poch and staff's personal circumstances. There couldn't be a word of criticism of Poch that anyone connected with Tottenham could utter. And in the meantime, Pep would not need to feel any disrespect for his club making arrangements with his successor.

Manchester City don't have the best public image, to put it mildly, but do have access to mountains of money, the type that would fund something Poch might want to do. He bringing talent, warmth, and a very positive public image—something to warm up and humanise the image of that club—and also to win trophies when money would be no object. It would boost public interest in City and underline the club's seriousness.

Every Spurs fan who calls in to that station that I've ever heard is either a wind up merchant or an absolute bellend. I don't know if it's the same for other clubs, I imagine it is, the same types of people exist all over the world, but it's always someone who's bellowing about who's to blame or like last night, some nutjob saying Poch was "toxic" and had to go - they find the individuals with the most marginal but extreme view on a subject and no matter how insane their angle is they go on there and, to other fans as their fans are to us, represent the type of person who supports the club.

Fucks sake, people, pack that in! You act mental on the radio and people just assume we're ALL as batshit crazy! It's stations like Talksport that keep the stereotypes of clubs fans alive mostly - I'm friends with loads of normal, human fans of clubs like United and West Ham - even the Woolwich - but they are almost always as embarrassed by their fans on TS as I am of ours.

Doesn't count for Liverpool fans though, obviously. It's like they produce them in some sort of un-regulated factory.

Some of the same names recur and I recognise some of the voices that are 'on the line' yet again. I suspect they keep a list of 'Spurs fans' they give a call to when, despite the provocation of shock-jocks trying to get callers to phone in, few if any Spurs supporters have phoned in. Shows that otherwise have little content and that want callers to populate them and so that they'll sound busily relevant. Again and again in recent months, a Drivetime presenter has ranted on about some aspect of Spurs, and only an equally loony caller or two have come on to do their marginal man in the wilderness performance of supposedly 'what most Spurs supporters think'.

The other night, the bloke standing in for Goldstein on the Sportsbar, they got some fella on who made a comment that the station had called him "six or seven times" and he kept hanging up on them, I suspect you're right, they have some sort of directory of nutters to call who like the attention.

It also gives Cundy someone to relate to, the twat.

What's he been saying?
Its like his been reading my mind:

Slating Spurs fans who question Jose's playing style, calling them deluded/entitled and such.
Saying that Levy has played a blinder for appointing him.
Calling out Poch for our form for the last 12 months.

there was more but im in shock and cant remember...
