I would rate it funny but the whole thing just makes me sad. Such a fucking waste.
What's funny is that they cant even do anything to rectify it... them, their children/grandchildren/great grandchildren will be getting wet for the next 99 years!

The guy was identified and removed from the ground so they know who it was.

"West Ham are leading the investigation and said they have identified the supporter involved in the confrontation with Livermore. The man was spoken to by stadium staff on Tuesday evening and removed from the stadium, the club said."

I love to see west ham suffer. But this is also at cost to the taxpayer. £20m a year loss while public services are being strangled. Whole thing makes me angry. All for boris and seb to get political brownie points. Someone should be in prison for this.

Yeah you're right, West Hate fans hate it, the public generally think its outrageous, and the only people actually gaining out of it are the owners of West Ham.
The only satisfaction I get is that West Ham fans thought they won the lottery, and now they absolutely hate the place, which is nice.

and now confirmed by WBA and Livermore. Next stop "Mindless individual/ Small minority" just like every other time one of theirs thinks they can say or do something vile. Without doubt the club with the biggest "small minority" in history. Been morally bankrupt for decades just need to become legitimately bankrupt and disappear to do the World a favour

https://www.wba.co.uk/news/2018/january/club-statement-jake-livermore/

IN the light of intense media speculation, West Bromwich Albion would like to clarify an incident involving our player Jake Livermore in last night's Premier League game at West Ham.

Following his substitution in the second half, Jake was subjected to general abuse from home supporters which he shrugged off. However, he acknowledges that he moved to confront one spectator who chose to make a comment about the death of his infant son.

The Club would like to think that all right-minded football supporters could understand this reaction which did not result in any physical exchanges before Jake was led away to our dressing room.

Jake is an outstanding young individual who has the total support of everyone at the Club and he has made it clear he considers this statement to be an end to an unhappy incident.

Albion were very appreciative of the swift response by the officials of West Ham in dealing with this matter and are more than happy to leave any further action they deem appropriate in their hands.

The Club has responded to an FA request to offer our observations of the incident and will not be making any further comment.

That's a great response by West Brom.

on a lighter note:

The front 20 rows get a soaking like Sea World :)
I’ve been to Sea World a few times and as impressive as the splash zone is when the killler whales are doing their thing I can confidently say that it wouldn’t reach the first row of seats at that stadium :LOL:

Ahh West Ham fans they never stop. Cheered when Fat Frank broke his leg, sang about Defoe's deaths in the family, sang shitty songs about the great Bill Nic on his death, lots of anti semitic chants. Of course it's always somebody else's fault and they're just being cheeky chappies
