The circus down at the London Stadium should only serve to remind us that we're fairly lucky to have Levy in charge. We could have it a hell of a lot worse

Genuinely can’t think of a single player of theirs that I would want, Lanzini maybe a couple of seasons ago but we have moved on since then that I don’t think he would really add much to us.
Lanzini would be an excellant depth signing as we've been desperatly in nee for a Eriksen backup for quite sometime, but you do get the feeling like he'd never seriously challenge to the starting eleven consistently. I'd still take him in a heartbeat, especially over Barkley.

But other than that there squad is serious trash, and full of fat overrated players that happened to show some quality 4 or 5 years ago.

At least the West Ham faithful are getting behind him...
What an absolutely toxic cluster fuck. If they think Moyes is bad wait till they see what happens when they try and lynch him the from the first game he manages. After his inevitable failure who’s going to want to manage there then? Horrible board. One of the most toxic fan bases in Europe that won’t even give you a chance from day one. They’ll be lucky if they end up hiring Avram Grants third cousin after that.

I love the fact that Moyes signed a contract with Man Utd that would have lasted till 2019 and in that time he's managed them, Real Sociedad, Sunderland, and West Ham. He must have holiday homes across the Mediterranean and the Caribbean paid for by his compensation packages.

Not sure if it's ever worth taking a player from a club that has been in turmoil both on and off the pitch. You have to question every one of those players and just how much they are giving for the manager and how they have been reacting as soon as the chips are down. For that reason alone Barkley is the superior choice imo

Unless you know that Lanzini is a problem to work with, which he isnt becuase he is still one of the only players performing at a half decent level, then that's extremely harsh. I'm not saying Lanzini is an angel by any means, but if I was him and I had an opportunity to go from that mess into our squad, I would be extremely greatful and work my arse off, as to never have to deal with such a circus of a club again.

It's not like we dont know that Barkley isnt bit of a twat, that got into a physical altercation in a club and that him and Koeman didnt have a great relationships. West Hams biggest problems stem from the fact that their owners and chairwomen are toxic, greedy assholes that are solely out for themselves. I dont know how you could hold that against any single player, besides Noble.

In the end Barkley and Lanzini are very similar players in many ways, the only real reason i personally fancy lanzini is because he's more of an out and out number 10 like eriksen, where as Barkley is a strange hybrid between an 8 and 10 and I personally see Onomah as being able to fill that role.

Exactly. Theres a story in the Mirror today that says Bilic stopped fining players for turning up late to training, which is pretty much the headline. Surely the story should be, players so unprofessional that they cant even be bothered to turn up to training on time!

What did they do at Birmingham to piss off their fans?

Does anyone know the story there?
Pretty much what they've done at West Ham, made load of promises and didn't come through with any of them.
Theres a lot of parallels with West Ham in that their plan all along was to make a bucket full of cash by moving them into a new ground that they wouldn't own....when they were unable to make it happen they sold up...they wouldn't have gone near West Ham if the OS wasn't on the horizon, this was their plan all along.

They are absolutely scum, they've saddled the club with debt from Sullivan that he's making them pay interest on, he's even made the fans use a premium rate phone line to buy tickets...he owns the company that handles the calls.

I think it's the only way up for Moyes, he's got the fans hating him, the co owner Sullivan doing an exclusive in the sun saying his appointment is a massive gamble, the rest of football laughing at the appointment so it's expected that he will fail.No pressure whatsoever on him, wins his first 3 games & he's up and running my precious.

Do you know who they're playing next 3 games?
