Let's All Laugh At... Let's all wonder what's going on at United?

Bruno Fernandes confirmed.

In a sad twisted way I bet the ****s who attacked Woodward's house are patting themselves on the back right now, thinking they're the reason the club have acted today. :meh:

Outside of the obvious immorality of the act, what precisely were these brain-donors expecting to happen? Woodward to turn around and say, “oh, I didn’t know you felt THAT strongly about it. I guess I’ll excuse the pain and fear you’ve caused my family, walk away from my high-paying, high-profile job, possibly uproot my family and stain my own CV to boot, just to ensure I don’t get threatened again”?

Let’s be clear, were I a Yanited fan, I’d be staunchly opposed to the manner in which the club was being run by Woodward and the Glazers. But even if I had zero moral compass, I’d still realise how idiotic an action that is.

That said, simply saying that it was the action of stupid people is reductive. They were the pus in the boil, but why the boil is there in the first place should also be addressed.

Of course, that’s not going to happen, because the commentariat don’t do thought anymore...

It's what makes me wonder about the people who want us to have new owners. Whoever came in would without much doubt treat the club like the Glazers do and take money out of it.

Either that or some despotic regime that would use us to sportswash their reputations.

They’ve been making decent signings on the main lately - Maguire and Wan Bissaka we’re very much needed and Fernandes will fit in nicely centrally in a 4-2-3-1.

Weird thing the haven’t done though, like us, is invested in their engine room, which has been neglected badly.

Even if Pogba fancied it they are still quite short there with Herrera not being replaced yet.

I guess the difficulty is they wanted to give Pereira the chance to establish himself (I think that was one of reasons stated he signed new deal) and McTominay is getting better but they are still short there. Not sure if Fred is getting better as well?

Always rated Fred
and was surprised
that he took so long
to establish himself.
Doing well now.

Pereira is a dirty
irritating little prick.
Will likely do well.

I think Ole made that comparisson before the game. Talk about putting the pressure on the lad before he's even kicked a ball!
Fernandes chose number 18 partly as an homage to Scholes so he's not totally blameless himself.

Good old baby faced all round nice guy Ole

Jim Solbakken is a scumbag of epic proportions. Everyone in Norwegian football knows it but nobody in the media or otherwise have been able to take him out of the game, not for lack of trying I might add.

Solskjær really dislikes TV 2, PL rights holders in Norway (and my employer) after a case a few years ago where some of our journalists worked on a project exposing Solbakken's dodgy dealings.

Yeah if a Sun jouno or photographer knew about this before hand that is absolutely terrible.

Anything for the story, eh.

The thing is, if they genuinely knew about it then they could have made themselves look good by informing the police and setting up some kind of sting to catch them in the act, and have the journo there to report on it as it happens, but no, they decide to take the douchebag route shock horror.
