Appalling and disgusting behavior from the United fans towards Jesse Lindgard. Even alleged racist abuse too. I get that some of the supporters are tired of players not contributing and putting in enough effort for the team but to go off on a person like this has no place in football.

That's disgusting. It's even worse that it comes from their own supporters.

It's starting to feel like Ole's turning it around.
They've been derided for not having a DOF type at the club, with very good reason, but look at their purchases since Ole took charge. Since Maguire and Wan-Bissaka joined their xGA (expected goals against) is way down on last season, it's not even close. That gives them a foundation to build upon, and in attack they've added James, who is a pace machine who stretches defences but is hit and miss on the ball, and Bruno Fernandes who looks top class.

They are all four good to excellent purchases whichever way you look at it, and add Greenwood and Williams to it and a loan striker who has actually done a job in his games so far, things are looking really good for them suddenly. After us and Sheffield United in the next two they have an easy looking run in as well (no jokes, please).

Ole has done a great job. Where the hell do they expect to be with those players? They've won some big games and are playing well. He's done better than their fans should expect. Imo they're ahead of us now in terms of young players and pace/energy

good game today. Bruno’s contribution in the team is vital.
Look at the difference in the narrative between their game and ours with city, they had 28% of the ball, less than us, they scored 2 goal due to 2 calamitous goalkeeper errors, city scored a perfectly good goal, because the linesman made a mistake in flagging.

United should have had a penalty, but, I don’t see any of the negative press we got for having done the same, it’s all about how united deserve their victory????

The only noticeable difference between our game and theirs is that against us City were dangerous and should've scored a couple before the red card changed the game, while in this game City were blunt and didn't create anything of note for 90 minutes.

I expect it was because we were playing Burnley and they were playing City...

Fernandes is looking like a good signing for them now. Looks like we might have dropped a bollock on this one.

I didn’t realise they were paying him that much. Surely that can’t be correct!?!?

On-loan Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo, 30, earns £8,000 per goal and £9,000 for every win on top of his £180,000-a-week wages at Old Trafford. (Sun)

I read that he was taking a pay cut to join them.

Saw this on twitter. Maybe like 2-3 of these are pens. Maybe. United would be below Palace if these were correctly called. Jesus. VAR is only as fair as the human watching. Never going to be a feature that is good for the game unless the ref takes a look as well.
