Friday morning, 10 am german time (9 for you non-eu-islanders :cautious::whistle:), you can buy tickets for the Leverkusen away game on their homepage. --> www.bayer04.de

It doesn't say members sale and it is four tickets per client max.

I don't know if it will be possible to book next to the away end because this end has the VIP-south (half a hotel as I know :D) to the right and the VIP-west area to the left.

Next option should be A1-A5, C-E is where the Leverkusen fans are.

See you there. (y)

Got mine but the website was a nightmare, it's completely crashed and you have to phone them and then email them

Hi guys need some help here,

Trying to book tickets as suggested above, got stuck on the final page on their website, and when I call it has a recorded message on repeat which is obviously all in German...

Has anyone successfully purchased tickets and if so how did you get them.

Much appreciated

It's the 'G' sections in the corner usually.

I am looking for tickets in away end. I know its going to be expensive. Just wondering as long as I get ticket in away section (from other sites), is that ok ? I need to bring my passport right ? Never been to a away game before.

From what I have been told, the ticket will have to be collected in person from the host venue and your ID will have to match the name on the ticket and this will be checked, Leicester fan told me at the weekend about this and I told him it was bo11ocks, but he was sure it was the case and on the spurs website for Moscow away it says exactly that procedure must be followed, nightmare for me as I had a mate who is a season ticket holder and was going to get me a ticket for the away end :(

I think it's just that situation for Russia, other games the tickets have all been sent out previously.

I've been in both the home and away end for our games vs Milan and never had to show ID. I brought home tickets with Italian names on and nothing was checked. I don't think I've had European away tickets with my name printed.

I think it's one of those things that they say get checked but never actually do in reality

Great if that is the case but on a Leicester forum there is a copy of a tweet from their club confirming that procedure in place for all 3 of there away games but have heard nothing from Spurs over this, have emailed club for confirmation of this so will post reply if received :)

Update : This is the information on the Leicester forum' not saying it will apply to us but maybe UEFA protocol has changed since our last champions league visit

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: PURCHASING UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AWAY TICKETS

All supporters who have purchased UEFA Champions League Away Tickets will be required to collect their ticket at a rendezvous ticket collection point in the host city on the day of the fixture. In line with UEFA protocol, information on the collection point and opening times will be announced in due course.

Supporters will be required to present the passport that they have used to travel and their redeemable ticket voucher in order to collect their actual match ticket. Please note, all Champions League match tickets will be sold to individual Season Ticket Holders using their unique supporter numbers and must be collected in person by the respective Season Ticket Holder - this includes all concessions and companions. We will only issue match tickets to the individuals that they have been allocated to.

Therefore, should the name on the voucher and the passport not match, you will not be issued with a match ticket. Other forms of ID and photocopies will not be accepted under any circumstances.

All tickets purchased under a Season Ticket Holder Supporter Number will not be transferable and cannot be used by any other supporter.

Supporters are advised to arrive at the ticket collection point as early as possible to avoid delays. There will be no opportunity to collect tickets once the facility is closed.

So, this means, its pointless to even look at third party website resale tickets ? If I am not wrong, all resale tickets would have the original buyer name...

Only option then is to sit at home end ?...

But the 3rd party tickets would have already been collected from the pick up point. They won't be asking you for passport ID on the turnstiles at the game.

When I went to Leverkusen the last time out my ticket had the name 'Kaidi Al-Kufde' or something like that on it. Never had any issues.

So, am finding away tickets online...Though bit expensive ,I want to go for it. I hope it would be ok.

We've heard this all before and I find it really hard to believe. Would be a logistical nightmare.
