You have completely taken my point out of context and missed the point.

We were discussing English teams getting banned from Europe and how Heysel was the final straw. I merely said that the way English fans acted in these days it was always going to happen and we can't the full blame of the ban onto Livepool.

If you want to twist that into something completely different then go ahead. If you lack comprehension skills then you can't have a conversation on any real level so I won't be wasting anymore time on you.
I lack comprehension? Okay.

The only way in which we can't put 'the full blame' of the ban on to Liverpool was if they hadn't perpetrated the violence that led to the death of Juventus fans. The fact that other clubs' fans behaving in a violent fashion created a climate of antipathy towards english fans was one thing; the killing of nearly forty people was something else entirely. The punishing of individual clubs (including Tottenham) by UEFA for the behaviour of their fans shows that a ban of an entire nation's clubs wasn't 'always going to happen'.

The simple fact is that Liverpool fans committed mass murder. If you think they're not to blame for the ban that resulted then I understand why you consider my original post to be strange.

I hope that you're having a nice day in your world.

Welcome to SC, always found the toffees Bluenoses to be a decent bunch and have good banter at games. From wishing us luck against Liverpool in CL final through to applauding us for the reception we gave Lennon when he came on against us (love little Azza)

I knew a few back in the 1980's.

Yeah you're right . It's the likes of Pogba and our very own delph that feed the narrative of selfish players . This might make you smile . The Liverpool Echo ( usually reliable) reported a few weeks back Liverpudlians were paying upto 10k for one night in a hotel . The night their Premiership parade was due to take place . Many are not refundable. Ten grand to watch a double decker drive past .

god I really hope the season is voided even more now

always hated Liverpool

Over your head? Fair enough. Perhaps you'll understand this one.

'You shouldn't blame Spurs fans for trashing Rotterdam in 1974 when we went there in the UEFA Cup because 'it could have been a number of teams with the way English fans acted at the time'.'

Utterly nonsensical.

sorry but I went to the 83/84 fixture in Rotterdam and there was a crowd of 8 friends stood in front of me, and only 1 was a Spurs fan, and to my side, we had Ajax fans, and that wasn't a friendly event either

Fucking hell, come in here to have a moan about Liverpool with an Everton fan and all people can take from it is to open up the Poch debate.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Everton because of what the OP said and also because, like us, they’ve had to deal with a more successful main rival for decades and have it rubbed in their faces on a daily basis. It takes a certain type of person to keep supporting a team like ours and Everton while having to suffer that. So in that respect I feel a bond with them. You never really meet Everton fans in London but whenever I have I find they have a very similar outlook on the sport as spurs fans.

Mate he asked why we sacked Poch, from that point the Poch debate was always on the cards.
