I'm sure they'll appeal it and get it reduced...still it's funny thinking about the conspiracy theorists on Bluemoon must be in their element right now ?

They will appeal. Wouldn't hold much hope that 5th gets CL.

Their owners are very much of the opinion that money buys you absolutely everything ( having never earned it it’s not surprising they have such an approach )

No way in a million years does this two year ban hold up. Money will exchange hands and it’ll be overturned or suspended

I hope the Premier League punishes them hard too. Perhaps an auto relegation like the Saracens got. Then check the books for Chelski and Liverpool

They’ll appeal and win I’m sure but hopefully the thinking behind giving them a 2 year ban was that if the appeal is successful, it can be reduced to one year, thus still giving us hope that 5th place this year is good enough. ?

Got to say, it’s amusing on Bluemoon. Screaming injustice, yet anyone with half a fucking brain cell knows they’re bang to rights. Embellishing sponsorship deals? Haha, yeah of course they’re innocent. Why wouldn’t their owners sponsor their training ground for £400m? ( an example )

Mind you, as funny as it is, and as hideous as City and their ownership are, surely more than one other club should be hit just as hard?

Did AC Milan overturn this in the end https://bitterandblue.sbnation.com/...n-banned-from-europe-are-manchester-city-next or did they miss out on Europe , so maybe 5th will be good enough.

PS. According to the report on AC Milan even if City lost the appeal their place might go to another country, sure this story will go on to the bitter end. City are guilty and everyone knows it.
From what i can see on wiki, they were excluded from this years Europa League and Torino got a place as a result.

As funny as the decision is you just know City will win the appeal and it'll be the final nail in the coffin for FFP.
