Yes-bit late now- but still worth talking about.
Speaks for the long term vision of our club that McDermott prefers to remain at Spurs. Would like to know how much our great manager had to do with it.

Also says a lot about the deterioration going on at united. Under Fergie they were almost impossible to turn down.
Now they get knocked back more than the school geek at the end of year party.

Seem to remember they picked off our commercial director a good many years ago when we were exploring the untapped markets.

Let's hope there are plenty more to come from this academy. Give them a chance to shine and they can show whether they have it or not, much better than they buy all approach.

Our academy is working after years when we hardly produced any good players. Let's keep what we've got going while it's doing well.

Don't worry there is a conveyor belt of talent coming though

LVG doesn't seem like a barrel of laughs to work for, and when The Average One rocks up in the summer working alongside his planet size ego wont be fun either?
THFC seems a very happy camp right now, with many many good things happening around the club. Job satisfaction is important as long as Levy pays fair money, hopefully he'll carry on building something great here.

Why would he go to utd? Van Gaal might be gone soon and who knows who will come in and what demands they have? Too uncertain a future for any coach and suprisingly we look like the ones to have a stable cosching stuctire at the moment.

Was he not approached in November? And he rejected it?

I think it's good they want him and our manager, they recognise that we have a good set up here. Utd have no direction or philosophy now and their board know it.
