Needed this. My car got written off and my ribcage almost with it thanks to a van t-boning me at high speed yesterday morning on the way to work and I’m in incredible pain as a result, but right now I feel very good indeed.

Sorry to hear that. Happy you are OK in the grand scheme of things.... First half must have hurt like hell.

It's never nice seeing a experienced Pro subbed so quickly when not injured butI thought dier took it quite well. José probably said it was tactical as he went off but he was big enough to not sulk about it.
If he's going to be a part of Mourinho's team he will need to get back his mobility. (Well what little there was) and be more proactive as he's too passive and reactive ATM and the game passess him by but hopefully it he gets more game time that will improve.

But the result speaks for itself so no one can really complain.

So many times in the past I’ve seen us go 2-0 in the first half for a manager like Jose to make a quick change and turn the game around. It’s so damn nice to see us the ones doing it for once. Well played Jose you saw the error and made a quick swift change to change the game.

I think the way we started was shambolic and this whole winks and Dier thing doesn't work... However I love that Jose made the change early... Takes absolute credit for that.

I have to hand it to him those subs were bang on. And how he got Eriksen to put a shift in is nothing short of miraculous. I couldn't believe when he came on. I thought wtf?

Certainly a good start from Jose.

He has made a great impression with the press and I have noticed a few Spurs fans who aren't in favour of him enjoying his press conferences. He has shown good tactical knowledge as well and tonight changed things early to get the win.

There will naturally be a lot of talk about the transfer window. I said with different leadership we might be able to turn a few players around. If we can get a player of genuine quality or a much needed stopgap in Jan then great but I hope Jose is ready to work with the current squad.

We have already seen two much improved performances from Aurier. Getting it right in centre mid is going to be a big part of his challenge.

I don't think we should underestimate Sacramento in all this, from what I've read he is quite the tactical guru.

The little things like hugging the ball boy is only going to endear him to the fans, it's really good to see, he's clearly very self aware and wants really wants to make a good impression.

Agree, and the way he started the interview afterwards by publicly apologising to Eric Dier was a lovely touch too
