He's in trouble if he's chosen Dele to be his golden boy. He needs to back off from that as soon as possible.
I really hope it’s all just words because right now dele is one of the better players he has available and that says a lot about the quality of our squad right now.

Wish he was braver, team needs refreshing, and until we sign someone that is done through giving youth a chance, we need legs and hunger. Having both Toby and Vert in defence, with Eriksen and Dele in midfield is death.

Not sure who else he can play. It’s rumoured Sanchez has a slight injury so is forced to play a terribly ageing Vertonghen. Both Davies and Rose are injured so has to play a very young Sessegnon, our midfield options are terrible and Ndombele is out and obviously Kane is out.

Think going forward he needs to ghouls the team round Son, Lo Celso and Lamela. When Ndombele and Kane come back then that is 5 players I’d like to see play every game. Then get a new CB to play with Sanchez, and definitely a new CM.

I’ve absolutely no idea where he goes with these players or how to play them in the next game. Got a feeling he’ll be thinking similar.

Well they are playing like the dead, that’s for sure.

He is has to drop the long ball because of no target man. Hopefully he realises that Celso and Lamela can bring a lot. But really, until we buy a DM we are fucked.

I didn’t see the first half, surely we weren’t trying to hit son with the long ball? In behind the fullbacks I’d understand but from what I saw they defended deep so they’d be no space for that.

He can’t rely on Lamela though, he could be injured again before we play our next match.

Poor Jose thought he had inherited a team that were capable of competing for titles, instead he has a group of players that have to struggle through every game they play.
All of a sudden he will be saying to himself this is not what he signed up for.

The mistake was presuming Pochettino was to blame

He knew what was going on with the squad, and what needed to be done. But everyone here decided to give their back to our best manager in the last 30 years, for 3 bad months.
I'd say we deserve this.

Mourinho's teams usually play ugly, but this is not his fault. Hope he gets the time to improve this. The time that we didn't give Pochettino

He’s saying how we struggled without a target man, yet also hints that we have to stick with the same squad ...

How much of a bigger indication does the club need before it realises we’re screwed !

If we’re struggling against a Championship side imagine how much more we will struggle in the league.

I agree regarding the squad, but come on, 3 months? It was far longer than that.
