Plus the “best GK in the world” and one of the most exciting young attackers in the country in Rashford.

Ok.

Put on the season where we finished second and the day the rainbow came out.

You're trolling, it's fine, it's actually pretty good. I'm impressed.

Enjoy.

Mate I’m not trolling at all I’m having a genuine debate. I want to be entertained on a Saturday and Wednesday. You can’t tell me you’re genuinely enjoying what is being served up at the minute?

It won’t change no matter how many windows he has.

Totally am, love it, football for the olden days. When men wore wooden clogs and they used a bucket, a sponge and hair spray to sort an injury out. If you can't appreciate it mate, I feel sorry for you.

Were you enjoying the last 12 to 18 months? Apart from the CL run last season, (and let's be honest we rode our luck), I didn't find our football particularly exciting in the season and a half before Jose was appointed. That's not a dig at Poch - I was a fan of his - but we regressed massively during that period.

Personally given the choice between swapping the amazing couple year spell we had and a couple years of antifootball but winning Europa or fa cup I'd take the no trophy choice.

That's just my opinion. I appreciate others care about the bragging rights. But I preferred the swagger of kicking eveyone arse and enjoying watching us play.
I wouldn't pay to watch this.

I don't get a cut of any competition winnings at the end of the day.

Why. Only have to go back 2 years where all of these things happened. Jose is old hat. The football that is being played at the likes of RB, Liverpool, city even Leicester is the way I like to watch football being played.

Jose isn’t capable of playing like that

Then you have your answer right there then. You're not forced to watch Tottenham play football.

Surely if we'd been kicking everyone's arse we would have a bagful of trophies to show for it?

Is it really too much to ask for the 3rd highest paid manager in the world to not park the bus and to actually play football like it should be played.

This guy is earning twice what we paid poch... it’s scandalous that we have to put up with this brand of football

Then don't put up with it. No one owes you anything.

It is not that hard to understand that we have major injury concerns at the moment, and Mourinho is simply trying to do the best that he can given the fact that he joined half way through the season, hasn't had a preseason to implement his ideas thoroughly and he has been dealing with an injury ravaged squad. We are bedding in new signings from both the summer and winter windows, and we are playing in 3 competitions at the moment.

Patience and perspective are the only things you need to see that he is actually building something special here, we have been treated to flashes so far and hopefully the players will take his advice and tactics on board for the new season. If they don't, then no manager on earth could get this team to perform again. The blame will lie squarely at the feet of the players and board.

The amount of points we have picked up given the circumstances is a testament to how good Mourinho really is. If you cannot fathom this, and get behind the team and the manager then those of us with a positive perspective have no reason to debate this with you.

My family have been Spurs for generations. Jose is a mercenary who plays football with the most defensive style possible. Anyone criticizing Poch remember Levy did not help him at all in that period. I am personally embarrassed that we decided to sit back and let Chelsea beat us.

Mourinho has to go he is not what Spurs need. Spurs have always wanted to play football not always successfully but now we have a manager who's first priority is not to lose.

Ok - I’ve read post after post of yours

genuine question

new manager comes in (any manager) how long would you suggest is an acceptable amount of time to put their stamp on the style? Let’s assume as well they have all the current players available?

please also consider mid season appointment, games thick and fast over the festive period

Totally agree. I want to enjoy watching football. I enjoy watching good football.

Winning 1-0 playing bad is one thing, it's a champions mentality. Winning 1-0 when you not even trying to play football, lucky to have not conceded 4 goals and get a goal against the run of play is not what I want to see. The first 3 games of the JM era is what I want to see. Trust in players.

The more time he has on the training ground the worse the football gets

Five players (half of which are bang average) do not make a cup winning, title-challenging squad. It was a dog of a squad, and it was the fault of Ed Woodward, not Mourinho.

It's like you're actively making an effort to just be ignorant about things to try and support your points.

I would also point out how fantastically well that great squad is currently doing - with additions I may add!
