Maybe we would have had more chances if we'd have actually gone after them?

No, let's just let them pass the shut out of us and then hoof it aimlessly to nobody.
So now we didn't pass the football? What at all? Just hoof ball was it? How did we win the set piece for the goal then?

Hyperbolic.

What will happen is he'll be given the summer and he'll be half heartedly backed in typical Levy style then get sacked by Xmas.

It's so predictable it's fucking easy.

Was it? The whole 90 was shit was it? Give over the state of the fan base on this site is fucking embarassing.

Not the entire 90, the first 45 was okay and then we decided to defend a 1 nil lead, has Jose not been watching us lately? It was insane to try that, when we actually tried we looked like scoring, but you can't do that for the last 10 minutes of a game

The same idiots who hashtagged #TrustPoch and #InPochITrust for 5 years without a single trophy are now calling for Mourinho’s head when he’s joined an absolute mess mid season. You fucking hypocrites.

So now it's 45 minutes? Not 10? Not 10 at the either end of the match? The last thirty we battered them ... I mean what is it, is there one coherent argument from a whole host of fans who just don't like the manager ...

We had numerous fucking chances in the 90 to take it, what the fuck are u on about? You want him to put the ball in the back of the net himself?
It was smacks of desperation for 10-20 mins throughout 120 mins of football - don't pretend we were anything other. The guy has a team much more capable than Norwich and he plays like we're the underdogs at home!? Totally indefensible and Levy has once again proven he values reputation over any actual substance. Bloody disgraceful!

When Mourinho met Spurs

The story of how a once great manager ended his record of winning at every club he’s been at.

Coming soon to an Amazon near you...

Edit. Something had to give, Spurs to become winners or he to become a loser...

This is exactly what so many of us feared. Dog shit boring football. He's not even getting results either. This is going to end in tears and I can see the fans turning on him very soon injuries or not.
Yeah, it won't last very long methinks. Can't see the poor run stopping any time soon, and when we start next season in similar form, and the atmosphere at the stadium becomes really toxic, he will be moved on.

Haha what??? Honestly some of the shit spouted in this thread is hilarious! We got 24 points from 25 games with Pochettino mate, he was utterly utterly utterly pathetic for the last year he was in charge..........now apparently he would win all the games even though it was proven he couldn’t??

The players are the ones that need to take the blame, neither Poch or Mourinho can manage these lot. How can a manager be at fault for players not being able to pass 5 yards, or missing chance after chance after chance. The lot of them have been pathetic for too long and it’s time for a clear out.

I said the other day that there are only 4-5 players who I would actually keep from the entire squad, the rest can go. We had a great side 3-4 years ago but they have aged. Toby, Verts, Walker, Rose, Dembele, none of these have been replaced and we are suffering for it. Defensively we genuinely have a bunch of average footballer with a couple of has been a thrown in for good measure.

It’s going to take time and the quicker people realise this the better.

There are players that are not up for it, and some that are really lacking confidence. But Mourinho has a lot of blame in this. Our gameplan is to wait and hope for a lucky goal, regardless of the opposition. We cannot string 3 consecutive passes.

So it's just 20 minutes of football? Not 45? Not the last 30? Sorry not following.

Come on, Mourinho deserves more than a 3rd of a season to sort out the mess. Levy knows that.

I really need to stop coming in this thread haha! Such fickle, impatient, childish fans.

Here is an exercise to help you get over it, go back and look at Poch’s first 20-25 games in charge at Spurs.........spoiler alert....his record was worse than Mourinho’s, yet I don’t remember seeing post after post after post saying that he should go.

There is a real agenda on here about Mourinho but unfortunately for the lot of you, it won’t change a damn thing. He will be here next season, I REPEAT, HE WILL BE HERE NEXT SEASON.

God knows I can take losing, I've been a Spurs fan for nearly 30 years, but I can't accept this. When Poch came in, even when we were struggling initially, there were always positive signs of where the club was going and what we were trying to do, but I don't see any of that under Jose. I see no plan, no tactical system of any kind, no reason for optimism. I genuinely hate watching this team and I don't know how much longer I can keep going without seeing any kind of improvement or positivity. It's such a shame how far we've fallen.

i wouldn’t go that far. we were poor for a while under Poch.

but it seems Mourinho may not be the answer. i genuinely thought he would be great for us.

No pressing, no patterns of play in the attacking third. 11 men behind the ball with no intensity. No clue what to do with the ball.

Against the bottom of the league team at home.

Wake up, that's not good enough.

Personally I disagree. Mourinho has inherited a team full of players who had zero confidence from the last year of Poch reign. A lot of them have gone past their sell by date, and we have had injury after injury to key players since the start of the season.

Add this to the fact that we have pretty much played 2 games a week since he joined and it all adds up to a very difficult job.
