I keep on reading this on here and on twitter. I just don't get the attitude. If people want to support a team that only win then I'm afraid Spurs arent for them. Never have been and probably never will be.
He’s had half a season in charge with a squad we all neeeded an overhaul, add in a ton of injuries to that, then wonder why we’re not flying.
Yes I’m sure mourinho could be doing better but laughable that people want him sacked

I actually backed Mourinho today, thought he would at least go for it. But I should’ve known Mourinho is a fucking coward. Never want to hear him say To Dare Is To Do again. In football you never know what could happen look at the Ajax game last season you have to go for it but Mourinho is a coward. This guy is beyond finished he’s a dinosaur can’t believe how many is backing him

I’m not a idiot I understand it’s not all his fault and we’ve been unlucky with injuries but he can’t even organise a defence anymore. Yes our defensive players have been bad but Pulis have had worse players and still organised them. And even tho we’ve had injuries on attacking players he has no clue of how to set up a attack
Give Nagelsmann this current squad and he would do a lot better

He might win a cup with us but that’s not enough. He was appointed to take us to the next level and imo that means win the League or CL and I can’t see that ever happening with him

Like it or not & I bloody hate it - we are stuck with him for the foreseeable and with no investment. The only thing we could possible hope for is that he walks and that is a slim chance. We'll be totally finished by the time he's given the boot.
Why no investment?

Its not the losing that annoys us all

We arent even competing... that second half was not managed by a guy who even tried to go for it. Pathetic.

We may not be a team or a club who will win year on year but fuck me - compete. Even shit players can compete...

Knee jerk reactions from them - we all go through it. Spurs is all about if's and but's in recent years.

Anyone saying Jose is the answer, I ask you, what is the question?

I am done. This isn't personal, I've boxed away his Chelsea history and his general cu**y past, but he is the wrong manager at the wrong time for Tottenham Hotspur FC. He hasn't left a club in the last 15 years where the fans were sad about it. What does that say? Yes he's won a few things but at what cost. He will rip the soul out of our club. I sit in the Park Lane 'kop' and everyone around me has already given up. People are laughing, almost delirious.

This isn't about Kane being injured, it isn't about not having a second/third tier striker happy to sit on the bench. Its about a man who's philosophy is not to lose rather than try to win.

Its been TURGID from day 1 and it will not change. Quote me if you want but if Jose is here in 12 months the football will be just as bad, even if we're winning shithousery games 1-0 on a regular basis.

We've wasted more money on Spanish/Dutch/Russian strikers, just cut our losses Mr Levy, lets move on..and lets give this club a heartbeat again.

The game has moved on from the Mourinho era.

Off the top of my head we could have gone for Prem proven Rodgers or Nuno. Or young up and coming managers like Nagelsmann or ten Hag.

Football has changed. Look at the top teams in EVERY major league and they play front foot, high press, adventurous, and energetic football. Literally all of them.

I repeat, he is a dinosaur and this will not end well.

Blame him for not even trying.
Who the feck would know what happens if we stop the back 5 and throw someone up top to open up space with runs.
At least TRY

He must be regretting walking into this mess. It’s not a Mourinho squad at all.

Hopefully he walks before it gets anymore embarrassing for all concerned.

I just think they are done, the lot of them. None of them seem to have the legs for it anymore. Something has seriously gone wrong behind the scenes. Its been like it for 2 years. Half of them are lumbering oafs with no speed or fleet of foot.

What if his contract with us has an escape clause in the summer that he has to get CL or we can move him on. Wouldn't surprise me with our dear leader.

I wouldnt be surprised at all. I dont think we would need to pay up his contract but more like an exit strategy if he fails. It was the roll of the dice to get top four/five and now it looks like neither.

Levy is not going to give him the money he needs... which in itself is a huge problem.

Can't wait to hear what excuses will be trotted out this time.

Injuries happen, mistakes happen but the lack of any sort of cohesive scheme of playing, any ability to string more than 2 passes together should not be beyond this team. The players look bereft of ideas, there is no fluidity in the passing or movement and most worrying of all a lack of passion or effort.

He will get the summer, he will not get all (possibly any) of the players he wants and I'm not convinced having Kane and Son back will be enough to get us back into the mix for top 4. I suspect he will then be gone by Xmas - hope not but struggling to see much else at the moment.

It's not looking great for him or for us.

I think one of the biggest issues is that the players don't want to fight for Jose, but that is entirely Jose's fault as he basically stops just short in every post match interview of saying that the they aren't good enough.
When you see players a couple of goals down chatting and laughing with the opposition it speaks volumes.
Poch losing the dressing room was what ultimately lost him his job, but Jose's first job as a new manager would have been to unite it, but he's not done that, if anything it's broken beyond repair and the big characters in the team like Hugo, Jan and Toby just don't give a shit.
Also, as fans I'm sure we're all super motivated with Jose's comments when a player gets an injury stating he doesn't expect to have him again this season, glass always half empty, no fear of him not being around for the rest of the season.

Absolutely agree with this.

You can't keep moaning and bitching that players aren't good enough and then expect them to believe they can win. All that negativity has now shown it's real impact. Players just don't look confident, the passion not there and on top of that we haven't been playing football.

I hate that people are buying the players aren't good enough. On form, the players available are fcuking better than he is giving credit for. He needs to start motivating them. He needs to give them belief, not kick them in the fcuking balls every chance he gets with "my boys have everything blah blah, but they we need better players". How about pre-match tell the world he believes in the team and they are good enough to win without Kane,Son,Sissoko and Bergwijn

To be very honest, I really don't get why no one is felling sorry for our coach, doesn't matter he is someone you hate, but he is the coach of a club you supported. Inherited a mess middle of the season and cursed with all the injuries.

If anyone remembers the the seasons with Poch, we never built on an identity. High press on one season, pass out from the back in another season. Bad thing was the players remained the same. To play with so many styles through those years and never settled on one, brought the worse we are seeing now - the players are broken down tactically, mentally and physically. The reset is such a huge button it is really not funny. The basics and drills of football are so lacking now the lads are no longer knowing how to play them any more.

I'm not trying to hold Poch or Mourinho or Levy responsible. But if Mourinho crucifiers like to blame him or, Levy for some, for all the mess this season, Poch has had an even bigger part to this shit than one could ever imagine.

It's a long way back from this kind of losing run. Even though it's not his team and the injuries, I'm struggling to think of a manager who's presided over something this bad and gone on to be a success.

Yep. It's why I have been saying its going to get worse before it gets better. 3/4 seasons before we get back to where we all want us to be. If we ever get back there at all. At least it means will will shed a few fans who don't have the stomach for it.
