It's widely accepted (I think) that we have quite a few players that aren't good enough. Eventually, that'l bite you on the arse, no matter who is the manager. An ageing squad coupled with far too often buying second, third or sometimes possibly even fourth choice targets has come home to roost. Add to that the lengthy self imposed transfer ban during which we stagnated when we urgently needed freshening up and it tells a story of massive negligence.

One half of the actors in that whole sorry play has paid with his job. The other remains, buying up massive amounts of head wax.
? so spot on! Especially the head wax

I wouldn’t be surprised if he walked in the summer. The rebuilding job is huge. We virtually need a whole new squad and have owners that won’t pay for one.
He's not turning down that money. No one else is going to give it to him.

I've been a big supporter of Jose on here, but he is giving us absolutely nothing right now.

I know it must be hard to try and deal with the mental and physical lethargy in this squad but I've never seen such listless on the ball performances as our last few games.

Levy needs to think very hard about this situation. Leaving Mourinho for another season could be very damaging, especially if he can't back him sufficiently.

Excuse that now you Mourinho loving idiots. Have some self respect & admit you’re wrong for backing this ‘has been’ relic.
Said it once & I’ll say it again he’s George Graham Mk2

So both Pochettino and Mourinho are has been managers yeah? Genuinely if you say yes then I’ll respect your opinion, but if you think Poch is still a good manager then I can’t take this post seriously.

These players have been utterly dreadful under two very highly thought of managers. Now don’t get me wrong, I personally didn’t think Mou was the right man but we aren’t going to get rid and I also believe it’s time that the players took some blame for their disgusting form over the last two years.

I just dont think he's worth investing in going forward. in the time he's been here we've got progressively worse. the players look clueless

I can't view this but i'm going to override my senses and rate it funny.

Because I like you, coupled with deliriousness.

Poch is also to blame for the complete nosedive in performances this season. We need to give Jose a bit of time and at least a summer transfer window and pre season.

It doesn't look good but let's be fair and give the man a bit of time.

Plenty disagreed with this. Nobody seems to want to explain why. Doesn't Jose deserve a summer window and a pre season? Weren't our performances shite from the beginning of the season under Poch?

We could fire him tomorrow and hire the best manager in the world and we still wouldn't win anything.

This squad is stale and Levy won't ever facilitate paying for a proper rebuild. Simple as that.

I hate feeling this way about our manager but I was against his appointment from the beginning. I softened during lockdown and thought the time to work with a fully fit squad would bring improvements. But it seems my worst fears have come true and he’s turned us into a sterile, negative, clueless side who’s only tactic is too ‘try’ and keep it solid in the faint hope we get lucky on the break. We have no attacking patterns other than to run brainlessly towards the opposition goal and straight into traffic. It’s an absolute mess. And I don’t see it improving.

Jose-ball relies on top level established players relying on individual pieces of skill to capitalise on opposition mistakes. We’re not built that way. We have young talented players that need to be coached and developed. What made us great during the last few years was tactics and coaching that focused on the collective. With well rehearsed attacking patterns that made us more fluid when we went forward. This is how the top teams now operate. The more we move away from that approach the less effective we become. It’s painful to watch.

Levy needs to bite the bullet this summer.

I'm honestly surprised he 1, came to Spurs and 2, is hanging around. I'd honestly have thought he'd want to maintain his career success record - going to Spurs is never going to do that for you.

Win percentages down, going to be the only club he never wins a trophy with. I think he'll look back on his time here as the biggest mistake of his career.
He came to Spurs after a period as a pundit and like all the other idiots in media thought our players were better then what they actually are!

Most of our squad is made up of bang average premiership footballers or purple patch players.

We used to have team of at least 7 or 8 players who were 7 or 8 rating out of 10 nearly every week. You then had players like Eriksen, Dele,Son who would turn up for certain matches or for a run of games but it didn't matter as the Dembele's , Kane's, the whole defence and goalkeeper and Wanyama and Dier for a season each would keep the team going.

Now we have not one player who is 7 or 8 out of 10 nearly every week. That there lies the problem.

Jose gets sacked, new one comes in. Rinse and repeat.
