That was poo poo weren’t it. I echo a lot of what’s being said about the fact that I really don’t like this side. We’ve heard from the players that they feel guilty about Poch getting the sack and they should. Tonight was a Poch era performance. Nobody cared at all. There was no quality, no drive, no teamwork.

Seriously though, how can any team expect to win a premier league game with Sissoko and Winks in midfield.

Honestly Winks is no better than Mark Noble, he doesn’t do anything, ever! Pulls out of tackles, passes straight to the opposing team, leaves his position massively exposed by chasing lost causes, can’t cross, can’t shoot, no pace, no strength.....I could go on. Sissoko is, just Sissoko, all strength and running but League 1 or 2 quality on the ball. Might be good for a team fighting relegation but not one trying to get into CL.

Look. There is a lot of knocking of sissoko and it was a sloppy challenge for the penalty BUT

he had to cover Aurier all night. Countless times aurier was out of position and in no mans land and United were getting behind him all night long.
At least sissoko worked hard all night. No one else did.

What was up with Kane also, because that was a frankly miserable effort. Too many of these matches when we're under the cosh where he just tamely trots around the pitch.

He'd be getting pelters if he was in the middle of midfield though.

Lost a little faith in José tonight.

Winks and Sissoko have proved time and time again that they are an awful midfield two. Poch fell for it and now Jose has, really poor selections tonight.

Agreed but it makes you wonder how bad the others look in training if Poch and Jose both think Winks and Sissoko is the best option currently available.

Sissoko and Winks just doesn't work. There's no creativity, there's no guile, there's no goals. It's just shit and we've lost to a pub team tonight.

Unfortunately there was only one side that looked like a pub team out there tonight.

Winks is wasting a berth in the squad, even more so in the starting XI. Sissoko is wasting a sub by starting. Sess couldn't do much worse. GLC couldnt do much worse. What is Mourinho thinking?

Whatever happened to giving a manager a bit of patience? A couple of games these days and people are being judgmental. Of course, if he makes a mistake he deserves criticism but I seriously know that people will be talking about who our next manager will be if we have two or three bad results.

Sissoko was a big part of the problem tonight, I don't understand why any coach whether it's Pochettino or Mourinho can look to him as a first choice CM option over Ndombele, Skipp, Lo Celso etc. Winks too - though he was only very marginally better than Moussa tonight.

We are gifting chances away anyway so not sure we could do worse than Lo Celso, Ndombele double pivot tbh. Plenty of energy and very quick feet at least.

Personally i'd like to see Skipp given opportunity until we can address the problem in the transfer market too.

Basically a 442. Cant believe that shitty United midfield bossed us tonight.

Never seen him dribble around players as much as he has since Poch left.

He’s playing a lot deeper and wider than under Poch. So when he receives the ball he needs to beat more players to get into dangerous positions.

That was really bad. I think it's just time to accept that half of our squad simply isn't very good. It doesn't matter what combination he plays in midfield they are all shite, except for Ndombele who can only manage half an hour at a time. This season is just a write off I reckon, we desperately need big changes in the next 2 windows.

I’m going to pick out Winks because he won’t get nearly as much shit thrown his way as he deserves.

His performance was as equally pathetic as it was idiotic. TIME AND TIME again he’s being suckered into chasing the ball into the opposition corner flag and leaving us totally exposed in the middle. We virtually had no midfield because he was leaving his station at every opportunity.

I never wish an injury on a player but I sincerely hope this means Ndombele gets the run of games in this team that he deserves. Winks shouldn’t be anywhere near this side.
