Tottenham starlet Marcus Edwards removes "Tottenham Hotspur" from his Twitter bio. Cue the rumours..

Anyone got an info on his status? Scored a corker for the England U17s but appears to have removed Spurs from his biography on Twitter. https://mobile.twitter.com/marcusedwards__?lang=en-gb

Has he signed pro forms yet? Asking for a friend

Well did he put some other team's name in his bio?

He's clearly not quitting football.

2+2=5 here people.

Not really. Player who plays for club deletes club from bio is at least strange. If you don't know, that's cool, no idea why this is spam tho. Someone on here might know, who is more up on the youth teams than me

Come on it's worthwhile discussing

He's one of our more high profile and promising youngsters and his leaving would be a blow

This is a spurs fan forum why shouldn't the situation be monitored and discussed?

When is he old enough to sign pro forms?

He did post a tweet a few months ago saying he was done with spurs. No-one was sure if it meant he was leaving or he was going off with england or something.
This has been a worry. But ask him on twitter. I'm not on twitter so can't but i'm sure a few people on here are.

Thank you.I do wonder sometimes at how narrow the allowed topics of discussion are. Especially with a forum dedicated to transfer rumours. It's tumbleweed time

I thought this was interesting. I'd heard he hadn't signed pro forms yet, that United and Chelsea were sniffing around, he scores a blinder for England then removes us from his biog the next month

Everyone seems excited by Poch's youth "revolution" but isn't fucked when one of our best youth prospects might bugger off? Jesus, ok. Back to hoping we sign random foreigners then yeah?

He doesn't interact with anyone other than his friends / teammates, so it'd be useless asking

Massive talent, biggest we have in the youth ranks as far as I'm concerned. Definitely worth discussing on a Spurs website.

I'd be pretty disappointed if he left and I don't think it's a good look for a club that heavily promotes it's youth development program

Isn't this the guy Barcelona sighted as being a top talent recently?

Unfortunately the way things are today, even the kids have agents and play the same games. Either he has been tapped up and had his head turned, or he is angling for a contract. That would be my guess, however seeing as I know nothing about the subject, that is all it is a guess.

His loss if he leaves. We aren't some championship outfit, we are a consistent top 5 side who play in Europe every year, we have one of the best development sides in the country and the best facilities and have a manager who promotes youth as proven by our current side. Anyone who doesn't fancy being a part of that probably isn't the sort of character we want around anyway.

@IGSpur - you said he had already signed the contract, right?
Is igspur an itk?

Would be good news if he had signed a contract

Of course there's a long way to go for a promising youngster to transfer his form at youth level to the big time and do so consistently

But with out recent influx of youth products into the first team we have reason to believe the cream of our future crops will be given opportunities so we want the most promising of them to stay around
