Not sure what the problem is. If he has great potential and he's not too expensive it will be worth it. We may need to strengthen the first team squad but we still need to keep bringing in prospects as well. So what if we have a handful of players in one position. They will fight it out and the best player will make it, the others sold.

Got 3 right backs already only 1 can play realistically. We don’t need 3 sat around. Sure if there is mega money on the table for Trippier or Aurier then maybe to a deal for the summer but I honestly don’t get it when we have much more pressing needs.

Trippier has shown that for as well as he can cross the ball or a free kick, he gives the ball away too easily and loses track of his defensive responsibility easier than anybody else in our defensive set up. If we could sell him for a big profit and bring in a young player like Aarons who has a lot of potential, I'd do it happily.

I’d take him as he makes all 3 of our right backs look like they run in slow motion. Plus he’s meant to be good.

We won’t sign anyone, but bet if we did we’d sign a RB, a CB and another keeper. Anywhere but the positions we need.

The only sense in this is if Aurier and Trippier are both leaving, and with Levy’s asking prices we’ll have trouble shifting one never mind both.

If we think he is going to be a top player then bring him in. Trippier needs a serious kick up the arse and possibly sold - I would like us to see Aurier get more of a run in the team personally. Maybe they see this kid as something other than a right back in the future?

If this is another right back, are we expecting 2 (Aurier, Trippier) to be sold in the summer then?

Poch clearly doesn’t completely trust kwp yet, otherwise he’d start more I’d be very surprised if we went into next season with kwp and Aarons as our only rbs

Quote from The Mail [Yeah I know]

Mauricio Pochettino is prepared to streamline his squad in the January window.
And he has made Dembele, Vincent Janssen, Georges-Kevin N'Koudou, Fernando Llorente, Michel Vorm, Victor Wanyama and even Serge Aurier available for sale or loan.

I really hope Levy just takes the hit on the players we want out, so that we can get some quality in.

It'll be beyond ridiculous if we keep failing to sign players because we can't (or won't) get rid of players who aren't even in the picture, for whatever reason.

No good enough youtube clips of him...
But I did find this 2:30 minute video where Norwich manager raves about Aarons...

Don’t need to sell anyone to streamline our squad we just need to play 90 mins and someone else will join the fucked list

Just buy all the right backs that are available. Once we have the market cornered and the other teams realize that there are no right backs left anywhere in the world, they will become desperate. We can then swap some of our right backs for other players or sell them for a gazillion pounds, pay to finish the stadium and offer Eriksen a new deal, raising his salary by 10%.

It's genius!

Nice interview with Farke or whatever his name is. It does feel like we are going full on Chimbonda mode at the moment if this is true but in Poch we trust, levy getting shot of deadwood not so much

Seen this kid a few times and despite having a pile of right backs already I would be all over this. The kid is rapid and has quality on the ball. I hate to say it but potentially a bigger, faster version of KWP.

One of our major weaknesses is our lack of pace at fullback, both in an attacking sense to supplement our front line (no other top team I can think of plays with three attackers as slow as Kane, Alli and Eriksen every game) and to get back and cover considering our high line.

I’d happily splash out on a top class RB in place of both Tripps and Aurier if it were possible, and have KWP as understudy. Failing that, let’s keep one of the experienced lads around and let KWP and this lad fight it out for first choice in the coming seasons.
