Would love to sign him as understudy to Doherty and replacement for Aurier but no way we have funds or can prioritise that this summer. Hope Skippy puts in a good word and we get him next summer.

Agree. If we could sell Aurier for a similar fee we buy Aarons for I would be very happy with that.

Norwich will have the parachute money which will tide them over and I suspect the players contracts have conditions whereby if they get relegated their pay reduces - perhaps not all of them but some of them. That combination will tide them over.

Lets not forget they spent a pittance when they got promoted - if anything theyre damn loaded

I really dont think they need the money and would rather keep him to get back up - the parachute payments dries up after next summer so perhaps in a year or two they may sell.
Parachute payments will go nowhere near as far as they usually do because Norwich have to fill the hole fromf zero matchday revenue. Norwich be in a better situation than those without they payment but it's still just like being the least stupid, stupid person

Am I the only one who doesn’t really rate Aarons? Sure he has some pace but he’s never impressed me defensively, he’s quite short and slight and I never saw him put in great crosses during ( the admittedly few ) Norwich games I saw him play.
