Can't see a membership specific thread - Forgive me if there is one.

What are you feelings?
Are you renewing?
Do agree with the club requesting full price?

I've cancelled mine until we can go to games again - 45k odd on the ST waiting list, I've had a ST before, don't think I'll ever be able to justify buying one again so I don't really feel I'm losing anything apart from a few LP's which are worthless as a member.

The fact they are requesting full payment for a product we cannot really use apart from a few shoddy discounts is awful from the club IMO.

I cancelled my DD as soon as the lockdown was issued. Can’t see enough fans being allowed back in the stadium next season to warrant a membership. As you say loyalty points are utterly pointless for a member so the membership brings you very little in the way of advantages to justify the £50 that they are asking.

I’m still getting the membership for my two daughters. The gift pack is usually worth the effort although there doesn’t seem to be ball this year which is annoying as I kicked the last one over the shed.

Cancelled midway through last season just because of the ticket prices and the fact it's travelling from Gloucestershire so it takes your whole day away.

I'll miss it but just cannot be bothered with the hassle of it anymore

Apart from people keeping their kid's memberships active I am yet to come across any adult who is keeping theirs going.

The member numbers are going to take a real hit

Hopefully the board will come up with a reasonable plan on how to make the supporters keep their membership rather than cancelling. I know it's a lot of money to just give away but in the end it will hurt us and the club.

I was keeping mine going on the basis i will be able to get tickets as soon as soon as we're allowed back at a higher capacity in spring 2021? Miss going too much or do you think that's a waste of money as it won't be possible at all next season?

Also a part of me is hoping I'll shuffle up the season ticket queue

Made space for someone else to be 54,672nd in the Waiting List. Go with God, lucky recipient.

Cancelled mine and my boys months ago, with little or no chance of getting tickets in the foreseeable, its a bloody expensive birthday and Christmas card, and despite the fact its nice to pretend I have friends who send me cards, I can send myself loads of cards form Moonpig for half the price.

I'm renewing but as I live in foreign I wasn't on the ST waiting list or anything like that.

I was going to get one for my kid but judging by the contents of the gift packs I'll wait another year at least (he's 2 now).

KeepIng mine and my dads going. Whats on offer in the pack is not too bad and it all helps buy players, especially given other revenues have dried up for awhile.

I’ve been told there,is no pack this year if I renew my membership, but a £10 discount on goods bought in shop or online. If I renew I’m keeping my £10 to use when buying a home shirt with BALE on the back

I’m renewing simply as the money they get from 000s of members might be enough to save somebody’s job.

This might sound preachy - and I get that everyone is having to watch their spending these days so no judgment on those cancelling - but supporting a football club should be about much more than cheering when we score and so I just figure that right now my £50 is my way of supporting the club at a time when they’ve had to close their doors through no fault of their own. Does that leave me £50 out of pocket? Maybe. But overall I’m saving lots of money by not going to games so wouldn’t make sense to me to cancel over £50 when the biggest change is I’m unable to follow that up with a further £500 on match tickets, transport etc.

You get to see all the Preaseason freindles streamed and a £14.99 voucher for store and 10% off in store on memeber days. There will be some yet to be annouced other member perks. I think they are planning to try to add more tweaks the longer not attending goes on.

In renewal email.

FREE access to watch our pre-season matches live online this summer worth £20
A digital voucher for our Spurs Shop online worth £14.99 (inc. P&P)
Club and partner discounts
Access to the One Hotspur Moments rewards programme.

I think mine auto-renewed back in May, I thought about not doing it - I'm not on the waiting list having given up my season ticket years ago. I only really use it to go to mid-week games when I'm in London for work... so I probably shouldn't have renewed but I did anyway.

Nope. Cancelling mine and the youngest son's. Eldest wants to keep his as he wants a season ticket.

May as well keep them though? They're only, what, £50 a year? Cheaper on D/D? Then at least you get your S/T waiting list spot, some freebies, and dibs on tickets.

Plus you get a Birthday and Christmas card from Harry.
