I’m renewing simply as the money they get from 000s of members might be enough to save somebody’s job.

This might sound preachy - and I get that everyone is having to watch their spending these days so no judgment on those cancelling - but supporting a football club should be about much more than cheering when we score and so I just figure that right now my £50 is my way of supporting the club at a time when they’ve had to close their doors through no fault of their own. Does that leave me £50 out of pocket? Maybe. But overall I’m saving lots of money by not going to games so wouldn’t make sense to me to cancel over £50 when the biggest change is I’m unable to follow that up with a further £500 on match tickets, transport etc.

fair play that’s very honourable of you.

I'm renewing my DD when it's due. I'm an OAP so it's only £21.50 for me. Bit more than I'd want to pay atm but get to watch pre-season games not sure the rest of the offers will effect me. Can't see me travelling down from Boston on a match day knowing what the traffic will be like plus this covid crap.

I’m a bit conflicted, part of me thinks it’s not worth it keep your dough, let ENIC shareholders take the hit, they’re minted!

But then another part of me thinks what if they start making redundancies if very few renew - some truly fantastic people work at our stadium a couple I know personally and I hate the thought of them losing their jobs.

For that reason alone I think I will renew and hope it makes a difference.

Will let mine auto-renew as the ST I was using has now gone back to it's original owner as he's comign back from overseas and this keeps me on the ST waiting list and I might watch the pre-season friendlies.

Cancelled my bronze membership after 20 years. I generally do not see the point of it. They sent me an email informing me that I will lose my membership points which are utter pointless these days. Before we had more season ticket holders and away tickets were reduced to £30 per game , loyalty points meant something to members.

I used to go to 10 away games a season off the back of my loyalty points and went to FA Cup semi finals and league cup finals. Ever since the changes I have not been to one away match in the league, which is fine as the fans who go week in week out deserve the tickets more than myself.

After attending Norwich at home in Jan I realised that I don't even like attending matches anymore. It is a 5 hour round trip to get stuck in front of absolute arsehole who talks shit all match, whilst spitting over the fans around them....however the steak pie will be missed.

The amount of people that are disgruntled about football and about spurs in general is alarming .
My thoughts are that if you are not enjoying going or watching then you would be better off (a) changing clubs ( b) changing sports ( c ) stop going on forums . If you carry on moaning about the club / other fans / football in general / I can only presume you are a masochist and enjoy tormenting yourselves .

I'd love to renew and support the club, but unfortunately my work situation was impacted by the pandemic so I can't really afford it right now.

I renewed to watch the pre season games. Figured that and the £15 store voucher would be enough. Then i read pre season only available in Europe or Asia. Fuck you baldy.

I renewed mine.
Used to be a real good investments with the LP scheme. Was able to get tickets for Capital One Cup final and several away games. That has gone with the increase of ST Holders.
Anyway, thats my way to being part of the club I love. Its like 4,50 € a month, no worries with that.

I think I'll keep mine. About 4500 on the waiting list but won't be buying a ST anytime so will pass again when offered one.

Watching the pre-season on a stream is nice. Not sure it's 'worth' the £20 they say it is. I'll probably completely forget about the discount for the store.

Currently using my mates ST So I’ve kept my direct debit as I’m only 5k away for my own. However it’s an absolute joke making members renew for a product we will almost certainly not use. Free access to spurs TV for 3 pre season matches against Ipswich reading and Birmingham can do one as well! Most definitely not a selling point ??

Unless your main aim is to be on the ST waiting list the value of being a member is questionable , I think virtually every PL game has gone to general sale in the last couple of days before a match , so if you are only intending on attending a few games and are happy with the less desirable games why be a member. As pointed out in previous post not sure how the club can justify charging the full membership cost for the 20/21 season when it is still not known when fans will be allowed in and using blackmail on loyalty points is a bit tacky. Lack of income will mean redundancies within the club but that's the same for every business in the UK.

I've just remembered that we also get the surprise box of goodies and pin badge with our memberships. I can't see any mention of it or hint of what is in it this year. I'm so excited it's like Christmas

Or is the 3 free friendly streams and voucher all we are getting??
