The most disappointing thing in the transfer window for me was'nt the over rated samba striker we did'nt pay over the odds for, it has been the performances of our team.
We dropped points against QPR and Norwich and crashed out of the cup to Leeds, unforgivable.
We have an abundance of riches, a superb squad on paper but when shit comes to shove they go missing.
Its easy to get up for the Man utds of this world but if we fail to conquer spirited, determined, lesser teams who want it more than us it won't matter who we buy.
Slating the club and the chairman is a cop out, we have the tools and its time they stepped up. Losing Sandro is a massive blow and Parker, however willing, just can't be fit.
So I will be looking to Sunday with interest, people moaning about what we have or have'nt done in the transfer window are just providing the players an excuse to under perform.
