Don't understand why Dele is being played so deep when Mourinho himself that he needs to play high up the pitch.

Dele needs a few games on the sidelines, he's been toxic for the last few weeks, never his own fault. Team overall seems toxic atm, yelling instead of support, front line fucking passive and maoning. Painful to watch. Everyone out!

Agree but Lo Celso doesn't yet guarantee either control in the game, or the output with which Dele makes up for his lacking it too.

Winks is shit but a lot of Spurs supporters refuse to accept any criticism of him and he’s overhyped because he’s “one of our own”, he plays like there’s no connection between his (limited) brain and legs. Dier is piss poor, Vertonghen is way past playing at this level, Alli believes he’s the world’s best player so he thinks he can do whatever he wants, and Gazzaniga is just plain crap and thick.

None of our squad have won anything at Spurs yet because they’ve finished in the top four a few times they play like most games are beneath them and all they have to do is turn up to get a win.

SC loves a good scape goat. Some of the posts about Dele lately have been nonsense. I think people are expecting miracles from him and when he doesn’t deliver he’s suddenly useless. Of course, they’ll all be queuing up to tongue his balls when he next scores a wonder goal or keeps the ball in like he did against West Ham.

Dele would be better playing up top, I'm not really sure what he's supposed to be doing, just floating around.
I actually think Winks has been good so far. Probably because I'm watching on my own, in the pub and have avoided this thread for the first half!
I don't think it's been a bad performance. OK, we've not created much because nobody seems to know who the striker is but on the whole, we've played a lot worse.
Stick Parrott up top, so we have a proper striker, and we may actually create a decent chance.

I like Moura but there are a lot of things that have been made Poch right since he left... its like 'ahhhhhhhhh Poch was right' type thing. Not goign to blame Jose the same way I wasnt blaming Poch but the players just simply arent that great (although i dont thinkt he tactics have helped too much).

That doesn't excuse diving and getting booked.
That doesn't excuse him trying to do an air-Cruyff instead of getting contact on the ball to possibly score.
That doesn't excuse him slowing the play to a walking pace.

He would not get in any of the other top 6 sides in the league like he once would. Even though he used to play shit at times he'd often come up with something to change a game. It's rare that happens these days.
