I'm taking a pure guess but I wouldn't be surprised if Dean said something like "Don't blame me for your team bottling it again"
Poch seemed to get a bit animated in the press about us being labelled spursy not long ago.

If the corner was such a tricky call then how come Poch saw it so clearly that he was able to get so angry?

I didn't see the match or the highlights so trying to piece this together from comments.

I didn't see the match either. Adding to your own question, I'll also ask this.

After reading through the match thread yesterday evening, I noticed MANY posts about possible red cards for some (apparently) pretty bad challenges. However, whilst watching MOTD last night, there wasn't a single mention of these challenges, or lack of potential red card for the offenders.

Is that odd?

They fucking missed the point entire, it was pathetic, they didn't even mention the fact Poch turned away and reacted to something that Dean said, they invented a narrative about him being mad about a corner, it was so evidently not that and it annoys me that these paid professionals can't separate Spurs deservedly losing to Burnley and Mike Dean acting like a **** to set Poch off.

We should probably score more goals and concede less when we have him as ref.

I was wondering whether the word 'bottle' or something similar may have been mentioned. Wouldn't put it past him.

I got the feeling it was something disrespectful like that also, honestly if it is then I hope it never comes out because we will never hear the end of it being quoted to us like that Lads it's Tottenham quote constantly.

The problem fans and I would definitely imagine poch have with Deane is not about 1 game it's been nearly every game he has officiated for us for about 2/3 years.
You only take so much before you blow up.
He has consistently seemed to favour our opponents for a long time imo

Yeah, it means we have all the views then, all of them ...

To be fair, more are making a thing about mike dean on here than they are on twitter. My timeline currently has talk about the boxing, getting stuck up north after the game, the away end being full of boring divs and spurs female fans beefing with male spurs fans. Oh and a sprinkling of levy is a **** posts.

your right we were at fault we played badly, but mainly after we equalised. before that goal it was a pretty even contest which we had the better chances.

if an error is made and a goal comes from it then it effects the game, know one is going to be happy for the effected team. No 1 knows what the score would of been had they not guessed it

even the winning goal when they showed a still on sky the ball over the top that Aurier never cleared properly, looks like Wood was offside.

it then becomes worrying when you have so many things that effect a match and it's the same ref, and the weird thing is we never used to have problems with him until after that moment v Villa and it being blown up. Arsenal hate him, yet since that picture and their moaning they have won the last 8 times he has refereed them, yet before they struggled with him

You know what, you're right. The league and its officials are all conspiring against us because they so desperately want us to fail.

I'll happily call out a bad refereeing performance but people were ready to jump on Dean from the get go for obvious reasons. What I take issue with is the constant victim mentality of our fans, there's always an excuse, it can never be because a team out fought or out played us.

We either make excuses or become self deprecating to the point where we sound like a bunch of 13 year old girls. It wasn't the officials fault Foyth lost his man, it wasn't the officials fault that our defense were tossing it off, or that Eriksen was a fanny for their second.

I thought Dean had a poor game, not a horrific one and nowhere near as bad as some are making out, that's the last I'm posting about it because SC turns into a mob once you dare question if perhaps we were at fault and not the officials.

usually when I'm quoted I expect to see someone argue with me, or agree.

when I'm quoted and that person says nothing at all, it makes me wonder what you where thinking:whistle:

edit: I've at to add an invisible full stop so people don't think I'm going mad talking to myself:cautious:
