It's pretty obvious that what Pochettino said was in response to something Dean said. We won't get to know what that was though because the FA will wrap Dean up in security blanket. As I said earlier, they are desperately short of Refs (even the best ones are pretty useless) and won't allow anything damaging to happen to Dean for fear of a scandal.
Too late...

Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't ref us again at least for the rest of the season. I also wouldn't be surprised if we've told the FA we will reveal what he actually said if he does referee us again...

If we’d known that it would only take a 2 game ban to relieve ourselves of certain refs we should have shouted at Webb and Foy..

The club should leak what Dean really said and then get the lawyers involved. Deans clearly a liar and should’nt be allowed to ref us again.

As for Poch invading Deans personal space, WTF, is Dean 5 years old or something. Bloody snowflake

Great chant the next time he refs us...

"You know what you are, you know what you are...

Mike Dean you know what you are".

We can even get Poch to join in.

well if he does ref us again, arrange for him to be nicked driving away, even if its only for speeding. doing 80 down Tottenham high st is a ban surely(y)

This is fuck all to do with Dean, but I actually did something similar to what you suggest when I used to play.

We'd just finished a match (we won) on the shittest pitch we'd ever played on, in the middle of nowhere & a dilapidated portacabin for a changing room & the ref was a total **** throughout the match.

As we were walking off the pitch, somebody said "is there any chance of having a shower somewhere?"

I responded with , "you're fucking joking, you've got more chance of getting a fucking bus to Mars"

As I said, the game had finished & we were walking off the pitch. All of a sudden I heard, "Number 10, come here". I walked over to him & said "yes ref". He didn't say a word. What he did do was pull out a red card & told me it was for offensive language.

I was slightly miffed, but my manager got hold of me & dragged me off the pitch.

We went to the pub for the usual after-match food & a pint, then the ref pulled up in his car. My manager decided we should all go outside because of how fucked off I was with the ref.

As I was stood outside with the rest of my team, I noticed that the ref was at the bar with a pint of his own, which he finished & then ordered another one. We stayed outside for another pint and a fag, and I noticed he bought yet another pint.

Sweet. I said to the boys, "watch this" Out came my mobile, followed by a swift call to the local police station, to report seeing somebody pull into the pub in a car & they were on their 3rd pint. I gave his registration number, hung up & went back to my rather amused team-mates.

At our next training session, my manager handed me the local paper & told me to turn to the crime section. Waddya know. Mr Robin Gregory, a referee for the CFA (Cornwall Football Association) had been pulled up under suspicion of drink driving, was over the limit & had been banned from driving for 18 months & given a £200 fine.

I didn't give a fuck. The **** shouldn't have sent me off. Plus he's a prick for drink driving anyway.

Best of all, We appealed my red card, the CFA agreed I didn't use offensive language & I didn't have a ban or the £35 fine for the red card.

I don't like **** refs.

'dilapidated portacabin'
You must have been
semi-professionals then.
In my day
we changed at home
cycled there
and went home mucky.
Those of us that had a home....

My belief is that as we are in a delicate situation with regard to opening the stadium there will be no reveal before we are installed in our new home because we need them onside . After moving we may find out what was said and overall the injustice we have to put up with when you see Klopps antics and no action taken regarding touchline ban is just adding to the feeling we are not being treated as a club to a level playing field as should be the case.

And what did Dean say? Conveniently left out by the FA. The lack of transparency is bullshit.

Yep, its ridiculous. Hopefully the club will leak what Dean said to the papers at an embarrassing time for the FA.

Can't see how Dean can ever officiate a Spurs game again now.

If it takes a 2 match ban for Poch to ensure that this happens, then I think its a good deal. All the games involving him were just becoming a ridiculous write off, they really were. It wasn't a level playing field.

Not even leak it, the club should just release Poch's observations on the incident.
