Would love Brozovic but then you'd have to ask why we signed Hojbjerg. Not sure why we let Skipp out on loan with the number of matches we have.

Skipp literally only signed a new contract if we agreed to loan him. He's on record saying that. Jose is on record saying he tried to convince him to stay.

And Tanganga will be the defensive RB, Doherty and Aurier will fight for the attacking slot if Aurier remains.

Wouldn't this make having Gedson on loan here pointless? Bale and Skriniar (you'd assume) would be first 11 players thus not enabling us to have Gedson part of the match day squad? (If this isn't the case is there a site someone could point me in the direction of to make all this crystal clear)

It's only 2 PL players, doesn't include ones from other countries.

Highlight of Levy's year was when loan-to-buys became common place. Surprised he didn't try to get Jose on a loan-to-buy deal from Sky.

I mean, I'd hardly imagine Conte to come out and say he doesn't want the player. Firstly it gives us leverage, secondly it would leave him in a Zidane/Bale situation.

Just have bad feeling about this one they we are going to struggle to get it over the line. In these current times it’s a massive fee

Despite the declarations in the before and after the comeback victory against Fiorentina last night at San Siro by Inter's sporting director Piero Ausilio and coach Antonio Conte , Milan Skriniar can leave the Nerazzurri club. The Slovakian defender is a Tottenham goalkeeper, who can soon return to the office after last week's blitz. Sky Sport takes stock of the negotiation:

Mourinho's ok: Skriniar is at the top of his shopping list. Inter will not accept less than 50 million, including bonuses: it can be closed for 45 million plus a 5 million bonus or 40 + 10. Tottenham expected to close the deal for 30 more bonuses. We'll see if Spurs decide to increase the offer and please Inter “.

With the way this handball rule is being applied we will see teams just hoof it into the box and head it down with the intent to hit a hand. A powerful CB and header like this guy is even more valuable. Get this done.

I really hope we get some positive news on potentially signing Skriniar this week. Because after that decision that has just been given I'm fucking fuming!

Lots of folks defending Dier in the match day thread. I disagree. Two plays in 10 minutes he was in the air with his arms around his shoulders, Spurs got away with one of them. Would love Skriniar in to provide certainty at the back.

Unless Skriniar is the first human who can challenge Andy Carroll in the air with his arms to his side while being pushed by Lascelles, he would've been in the same situation. Dier was not the problem.

Go ahead and try jumping in the air with your arms behind your back or by your shoulders.

Dier could become a really good centre back with more experience but we need someone who is one right now.

I agree

dier looks miles better with a true centre half next to him.
There’s lots of cases when that’s the case as well - centre half is all about reading the game - you just know where to be - and in my opinion a true centre half will very rarely play another position on the pitch.
