Modric.... Would you have him back?

Just noticed Modric hasn't made it even onto the bench today for Madrid. We all felt short changed in the summer by him admittedly, but would you have him back at spurs for say 24 mill if we had qualified for the CL. Some players make moves that for one reason or another don't work out. He is still a superb player though and for the right price he could be a player we'd be back in for?

Discuss.....

I certainly would but then he was my favourite player. With him sandr and dembele we'd definitely keep the ball well

My head says yes as he's twice the player Dembele is.

My heart on the other hand says fuck him. Not sure I could bring myself to cheer him.

Worth noting that Real probably haven't even paid the full fee for him to us yet.

And in answer to your question: God yes, he was a glorious player. I'm not proud.

Real Madrid C.F.@realmadriden
Jose #Mourinho has called up 19 players for the match. Arbeloa,Modric and Higuain haven't been called up due to suspension.#halamadrid

He will be 28 in September. I'm not sure he can demand a fee for 24m. Given his age and him not featuring for hardly any games for Real. If he does go I think any club who us in for him shouldn't pay no more than 15m.

Avb liked him that's for sure while at Chelsea and I think he suits the 433 he craves. Just a nice idea but in reality you are probably right and there's no chance. Thing is I don't know whether the big big clubs would be in for him, though he'd be awesome for united, and I think we'd be an attractive option if in the CL and keep hold of bale.

He'll sign for Chavski or United I reckon.
I reckon you're near the truth here mate, although I believe it'll be United rather than Chavski as he'll get far more game time at United. Blooming blackguard if he does come back to these shores so soon though! (unless it's to us, of course, cap in hand!)

RE: OP - I'd take him back (not sure about €24m though!), although I'm ruddy happy looking at this quintumvirate: Holbty, Bale, Dembele, Lennon, Sandro... :woot:
