It is also normal for fans to get quite irritated with a player who has put himself in this position.
It is very possible that if Eriksen decides to see his contract out, and is not committed on the pitch, then things could get quite toxic. But it is normal so everything is OK.

I think Jose really thought he could change his mind about leaving and what better way to keep playing him. Granted it was a gamble that didn’t work but what if it did??

I understand why he's picking him but wish he wouldn't, he can win a game with a pass, shot or f/kick but his lack of commitment is costing us, he doesn't want to be here and doesn't want to risk injury so just leave him out & move on. I'd put Lo Celso in his place.

He ain't performing on any level.
He's been a great signing overall but he's letting it all turn sour at the end which is a shame.
I would think he would be busting his balls to put himself in the shop window for a move.

I would pick any player over him at the moment and i would completely drop him squad even though we are struggling for numbers.

Should be starting on the bench at best for me & I would start Lo Celso or Skipp in front of him especially in a game like tonights!

I imagine that Eriksen doesn't even need to shower after a match. He barely breaks into a trot.

@Springerding it was a genuine question, I was curious to know why you think he's picking him? Because of his form and attitude I can't see why
I stated the reasons in my post Dilspur, JM knows he has the ability to win a game with a pass, shot, free kick and also I think he looks the fittest player on the pitch atm .. but his lack of commitment is costing us as, we all know his level is down massively but I think JM is picking him for the reasons ive stated … personally i'd play Lo Celso as he sets a tempo that we need, although he dropped off the pace a bit in the second half last night like a few others, we don't seem to have the stamina that we used to have when Poch got them running for the whole 90.

nay probs Dil, been there … I think JM has also tried to give him the old go out on a high, get you're head up, leave with respect etc to try and get something out of him before he leaves. Its a shame to see CE playing like this when we know there is a class player in there.
