Absolutely no doubt he's a magnificent player, and we certainly shouldn't be considering any plan where he leaves in the near future.

We do need to have better alternative options though as his injuries do mean he will never be a full-on regular.

Winks is a fine alternative at times, and his passing and awareness is impressive for one so young, but we do need someone else who can carry the ball a bit more. Not sure whether that comes from within or without the club though.

He gives us the unique option of a player who can hold onto the ball in midfield under pressure and can dribble his way out of it. He rarely loses possession or a tackle and passes accurately. The obvious flaw though is that, IMO, he's too conservative and risk averse but I'd rather that than giving the ball away all of the time. Absolutely have to keep hold of him.

I don't think that Dembele will move anytime soon. Still a little baffled that Witsel chose to leave for China when he clearly would have the chance to move to Italy or England. But I guess money rules everything nowadays

No way we could replace him.

No player in his league is affordable or would come to us.
