There's just too much ignorant nonsense on this thread. I don't have time to refute it all. It's just one paranoid extrapolation and misunderstanding after another.

The fire safety system has failed tests. That's what's happened. Nothing to do with stands or exterior cladding or the whole project running late since months ago. Just the fire safety systems. That's enough to derail everything, all on its own.
How patronising
I don't know if you have the time to read this but i personally don't think anyone has a fucking clue what the real facts are.. So no need to go into it fella.

Going by the info that was passed onto me I'm not close to these works but he is being asked to really push on.
Also from a separate contractor levy asked another company to drop all their other work and work 24hrs which he couldn't commit to, plus apparently a lot of the safety items such as fire cabling are in red we have asked if we can have it in blue allegedly.

If for one moment it's true that we've asked for the fire alarm cable to be in blue then whoever asked for that is the biggest numpty going.

Thinking about it i'm sure there were some photos with red fire alarm cable a few months ago.

Yeah I know that is why I said allegedly because although the bloke telling me is a spurs fan no one is stupid enough to go against legislation but the rest of it ties in with what I have heard from a couple of contractors I do work with.

Kevin de Bruyne suffers a potential long term knee injury(2-4 months) in training. How does Levy do it? First game at NWHL v City now definitely on.

For a second I thought the 3 stands would have been a good idea. Then I remembered the roof was in one section so that wouldn’t have been an option. Although I guess they could have used a different design for the roof.It does really makes sense would have been a horseshoe 45k capacity and they could have built the south stand over this season.

Really think levy or Cullen should just do a straight up interview on spurs Tv and answer the basic questions like.
1. What exactly is the issue
2. What has to be done to resolve it
3. And do you have any idea on a completion date.

All people want is some straight up answers. People have paid a lot of money for a product that hasn’t been delivered, people are entitled to know exactly why and not be left in this state of limbo.

Mate do you remember what General Burkinshaw said when he left?

"There used to be a football club here"

Its been a business for a long time now, we are customers not supporters to them and the way we are being treated cements that.

If they give an indication of completion date, and then find more issues and delayed they would open themselves up for more abuse. I would hope they look into this issue and resolve it or know more before they indicate any time scales.

The Fighting Cock sat down THST yesterday and it's a really interesting listen:

https://www.acast.com/thefightingcock/s8e04-trustinlevy-?autoplay

Flav pushed home the point about how disappointing the lack of apology was in the first statement and all they did was bang on about the NFL, THST said they raised this with to the Club and they "thought" they'd apologised. Speaks volumes about how poor the Comms team is, they need to get someone in who proof reads our statements from a fans perspective before anything goes out.

In my opinion they need to get it right first time, not the second time when it comes across as a reaction to all the negativity. Time we started behaving like the big Club they'd have us believe we are.

I work in PR, and I feel like they should really bring me in because I know I could do much better crisis comms than them! Absolutely terrible comms team.

I don’t. The public shouldn’t have too much information. The second update they did (which should have been the tone of the first) is sufficient enough for me.

Yeah, but presumably they know that and will just put next year's season ticket up by an extra £150.
You can get away with an awful lot in the first season. There's the novelty value, the promise of the new and wanting to be one of the first there. A massive amount of goodwill has been exterminated. The club has looked like a right chancer, particularly the massive price increases, evoking memories(for the teenagers) of Scholar, and the vast amount of lies, incompetency and greed experienced then.

You can fool most of the people once, promises and sleight of hand. If you don't deliver on most of your promises, it might be toast for the 2nd season. If that's on the horizon, then expect some very early marquee signings next summer.
