It's going to be a musical summer to remember at the new stadium – we're proud to announce alongside Global, the Media and Entertainment group, that one of the year's biggest events, Capital’s Summertime Ball, will take place at our world-class venue on Saturday 6 June.

Bummer for all those that want to attend though. Capacity 2/3 the size of Wembley, so less opportunity to get tickets.
I picked my wife and daughter up afterwards last year and it's far easier for parents etc. to do that at Wembley than it will be at our stadium.

So they don't put seats on the pitch for these events? I always assumed they did...

That'd make the capacity rations much smaller.

Pitch will be standing, not seated.
Rule out the entire North Stand as that's where the stage will be positioned, so that takes capacity, excluding pitch, down to about 50,000.
Approx 10,000 on the pitch, so back up to around 60,000 in total.

Last year's attendance at Wembley was 80,000 so I guess 3/4 rather than my original 2/3 estimate.

Wonder why the changed venue from Wembley?

Although they might have done it at the emirates previously unless I’m making history up in my head again?

Euro 2020 - first match at Wembley is on 14/6 and they will want pitch in pristine condition.
