what young players is Poch developing ffs?

Keep up mate...the two Harrys, obviously. That's going to be proof of his youth development skills for eternity.
And he occasionally gives KWP or Skipp a game here and there. More proof.

I don't know why people feel the need to hold on to opinions that are no longer based on facts. I don't understand why people think they can't change their mind based on new evidence.

Totally agree. Allegri has no premiership experience. Jose has won 3 Prem trophies. I know who I would go for.

Klopp, Pep, Conte, Sarri also had no PL experience.

For me, Allegri > Mourinho. He just seems to understand modern football better.

Not entirely disagreeing, but if we can put up with George 'camel-haired bung coat' Graham winning us a League Cup, then we can cope with a grumpy git whose won everything there is at club level.

Didn't want him near the place either, and that rankles with me long after any lingering memories of the League Cup have vanished.

Agree, but it also coincided with Ginola's best season. I'm as guilty as anyone of letting emotions guiding me, but sometimes...

Those negative traits you mention of Jose could just as easily be said of modern day Poch

Maybe in your eyes. To me, Poch is a decent, honourable, well mannered, likeable bloke. Mourinho has always been an arsehole with no redeeming traits. I hated him when he was at Chelsea and I think it's utterly hypocrytical to want him as our Manager - but that's probably just me since I don't believe in 'win at any cost'.

The club is crying out for a bastard like Mourinho with a CV the players will respect. Two (2) (TWO!!) trophies since the 90s is more than embarrassing. The club needs someone to force us over the line and take the next step otherwise we’ll continue being the very best losers (and we’re not even that anymore). Don’t think anyone thinks Jose should be a long term option, but hopefully he could leave us with a few nights of actual glory

But surely winning at all costs is better than not winning at all although it's your opinion of course which is to be respected.

Not for me. Thierry Henry knocking Ireland out of the qualifiers with a handball goal was winning at any cost. It stinks. Apart from anything else, I think Mourinho would leave us in an utter shambles after a couple of seasons, a shedload of money spent so that we can watch his fucking awful brand of football. Fuck that. I'd rather wait for something I could be proud of, and apart from that, there's absolutely no guarantee he could win stuff. He spent 350m at Utd and moaned and bitched that it wasn't anywhere near what he needed. I can just imagine how well he'd get on with Levy.

I honestly think Mourinho is a good fit for us right now and I would like to see it happen. We have a really good squad and could be a great squad with a new full back and defensive midfielder if Dier is finished. We have players at a good age with a mixture of youth and experience. We really don't need a lot. Jose seems to have a soft spot for us and has had a good break now and I'm sure would relish the opportunity of proving a few people wrong. This isn't the THFC of 20 years ago, We have the best stadium, training facilities in the land, Ok we don;t have the finances of City or United but I am of the understanding we can compete with everyone else?

We all want the same thing and that is for THFC to be successful and see a few pots along the way. I think Jose can deliver this.

If Arsenal sacked Emery tomorrow and Hired Mourinho I genuinely would be gutted and would see it as a massive opportunity lost.

The way some Spurs fans stick their nose up at the prospect of Mourinho managing us is madness, the guy is a serial winner and proven in this country.

To Dare Is To Do and all that. Make it happen Levy!

I don’t think life is anywhere near as black and white as win at all costs or don’t win at all.

I really don’t understand why adults talk in such ridiculous terms.

I never liked Mourinho as a person, although I obviously have to respect his (many) successes.
I used to like and respect Poch as a person.
Nowadays, Poch is coming across exactly how Mourinho used to...bitter, stubborn and arrogant.

If I had to make a choice between a bitter, arrogant manager who wins trophies and a bitter, stubborn, arrogant manager who doesn't...

The thing is I think Mourinho taking a break from football will have done him the world of good.

Could be a perfect storm hiring him now.

Hungry and motivated again. Surely he's relish the chance to put Tottenham with the big boys.

And looking at our squad it's doable.

I’ve changed my mind, I’m in favour of Mourinho. If we are going to have an arrogant, self obsessed, rude dude with puzzling team Selections and dreadful footie, we should have one that at least wins matches and navigates finals. So Mourinho in.

I honestly couldn't care less what Jose's like as a person.
I haven't got to have him round for Xmas dinner or holiday with him at Easter.
And if you don't like his press conferences then find something else to do for that 5/6 minutes per week.

I just hope that DL realises the overlap for us considering a new manager, whilst Jose's out of work...is tiny and may never come up again.

Fair enough, and you’re obviously steadfast in the way you view Spurs, but I really think you will end up like this :

Probably because he won more trophies (2) with an ordinary MU team in his first year there, than we have won as a club in 20 odd years.

Not to mention shitloads more trophies he has won over the last two decades around europe.

He can be a twat, but i would take a twat right now if we started winning trophies.
He was given £75m and £80m players pre-Neymar and was expected to win. Do you think he will get that here?

I get the cheating part but I was more refering to being hard to beat, organised and strangle the life out of the opposition to win a game if need be, not sure that we would be in anymore of a shambles than we are in now along with poch who just seems to moan and speak in riddles.

In the big games, semi finals, finals, derbies, games against other so called big 6- I’d feel a lot more safer in the hands of Jose than I would under Poch.

Let’s be honest here, many of you who are saying you hate Mourinho as a person has nothing to do with his personality. Many hate him because he was at Chelsea and is a winner. If his first spell in this country was with us I guarantee we would all love him. I personally think he is a great character and very likeable. If he was our manager we would love him. The more I think about it the more excited I get about the prospect. Unfortunately I think we are in for a lot more suffering yet...
