Firstly I actually really like the NFL merchandise and have a few hats myself. Why though do so many fans have to wear them at our home games? I like a nice new era knit or cap but if I wear one to a game I always wear a Spurs one. What do others think? I just can’t understand wearing another teams colours at our games!

They've probably just bought it at the Spurs Store...

Now that is taking football tourists, too far.

I was in the Son Heung Min shop before the game and I know the amount of merch we sell to the tourists is good for Levy. But the number of Sonny supporters around me in the South Stand was incredible and this has a definite impact on the atmosphere. They don't sing they don't cheer, they spend the whole time taking selfies. The guy next to me left his seat before half time and didn't reappear until the 75 minute mark, I know the queues are quite long but I suspect like a lot of those there, he wasn't really interested in the football at all.

I think NFL stuff isnt seen as sports wear stuff but as actual trendy 'designer' type stuff. If that makes sense.

I’d agree with that. That’s actually a very good way of describing it. As I say I’ve got a few myself. I like the Seahawks stuff....no idea if they’re any good though??

Im a seahawks fan and do like the seahawks stuff. I have found that the NFL dont change their kits every five minutes which is cool and they alternate quite a bit regardless of 'home' and 'away'... they tend to have like four or five kits which means what you buy isnt just put to the scrap heap.

Seahawks are alright, I only picked them like three years ago because im a Frasier fan and well he was in Seattle. haha.

The New Era caps are collectable fashion, they do the yearly caps but that doesn't include when they do specials for the various NFL teams when it might be an anniversary year or they dig out old designs from the teams past.

It's insanely marketable and New Era do all sorts for all sorts of topics.

It's a cash cow.

Maybe, it just feels a little weird to me. Perhaps I’m just getting old?! I also saw a woman coming out of the stadium at full time taking selfie’s in front of the cockerel and she had a Chelsea iPhone case?!!

NFL stuff is fine but the lady with the Chelsea iPhone case should have been beaten with (official spurs merchandise) sticks.:playful:

I just like the colour.....? I also love me a Cleveland Indians hat, this is just because I love the 80s films with Charlie Sheen and the logo is pretty cool!?
