Was looking for a thread so I could ask if he's any good or not but there wasn't one.

Goat says we're in for him and he look's alright to me but I'd prefer Sakho tbh.

Nicolás Hernán Gonzalo Otamendi (born 12 February 1988) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays for F.C. Porto in Portugal, as a central defender.
In his professional career he played for Vélez Sársfield and Porto.
An Argentine international since 2009, Otamendi represented the country at the 2010 World Cup.

25 years old, 6 foot, stocky, can certainly "dominate", made 60 apps for Porto.

The fact he plays for Porto puts me off A LOT.... after the Moutinho dealings the less we do with them the better imo.

Would absolutely love to have him here. They can afford to lose him and with Mangala being so expensive, if they were likely to sell a starting CB, it'd be him. I thought both he and Mangala were probably the most underrated CB duo.

He's a very consistent performer. He's always switched on and anticipates well. Him and Vertonghen would form quite the pair so long as they had an understanding between pushing forward and sitting back.
