If someone had told me month ago ManU sign him on deadline day, I had laughed. If someone told me I'd envy them for that, I had cried.

Envy them? Behave.

I would've envied them getting Giroud, Willian Jose, hell even Balotelli. But not fucking Ighalo.

I'd rather give Lloris a go up front than Benteke.

Ginger Pele would be tempting though. 40 years old today ?

Well, resigning would be nice birthday gift on round years. How is hold up play of Vorm btw.

What's all the hate for ighalo? He may not score many but he's a pretty good target man.

So glad we didn’t get Ighalo. A player who went out to retire in China. I’m guessing it’s going to take a month or so to get fit for prem. probably hasn’t got the hunger or sharpness anymore. I don’t think he’ll even play much. Very desperate. Much rather give parrot some game time. Young and hungry with something to prove

He's not a target man. He's fairly tall but not a very good hold up player at all, unless something's changed a lot in three years in China.

Deeney did the donkey work at Watford, Ighalo popped up with a few goals but wasn't a strong battler.

Bingo! The Deeney/Ighalo partnership was based around Deeney, as I mentioned previously Ighalo needed a target man/bully to play off so let’s hope Greenwood is up to the job.
Got to be one of the worst signings they’ve ever made, they’d have been better off playing martial up top flanked by James/mata/greenwood/lingard.
Absolutely nuts!

They'd be better off with Solskjær himself up top, to be honest.

Keith Andrews, who played with him at Watford in the championship, said on ssn that he thought it was a red herring. With a smile on his face he said he couldn’t see him playing for Man Utd then. Completely different level.

I really don’t think we’ve missed out.

I really think a desperate buy wouldn't sit well with the dressing room mood though..
