Reports from Holland have claimed that a section of FC Twente's stadium has collapsed and Dutch police say an unknown number of people are trapped under the rubble.
News agency ANP reported that fire and ambulance crews have arrived at the scene and a Dutch police spokesman said: "Part of the roof has collapsed. There are people under the rubble. We don't know how many."
The news first broke on Twitter, with some people posting pictures of the scene, and the stadium's current renovation being blamed for the incident.
Twente president Joop Munsterman maintained last month that: ''We have put a lot of private money in the expansion of the stadium, as we play next season in front of 30,000 men in the Grolsch Veste.''
