Especially like this bit, “We have all got responsibilities at Tottenham and we are ready to go through this.”
I hope Verts reads this.

I think Paulinho is underrated on here. The man will be a revelation next season!
Not really because he hasnt really done much. Glimpses but thats about it.
Imo he'll be much better next season. Hope so anyway.
Edit- Great of him to come out with that though. Hopefully that'll put an end to that ball locks straight away.

Talk is cheap . Standing firm in a player wall , that'd be a start from Paulinho .

You get that cliche comment about players putting their 'bodies on the line' for their team .

If you go the farthest possible distance from that concept , at the very end of the line , there's Paulinho . A man who actively avoids putting his body on the line for his club .

Are you speaking rhetorically, or literally in regards to putting his "body on the line"? Not trying to start something, btw. Just wondering.

Well , I don't mean laying down in front of the 7.22 to Peterborough Sandro ...on the rail tracks if you follow . That would be taking his duties too zealously.

No , what I had in mind , was that 'never say die' determination to prevent an opposing football team from scoring a goal , to the extent of using the body as a form of shield and thereby selflessly diverting a football from entering the goal in spite of the very real danger of feeling a slight stinging sensation. eg Dawson

When I said 'at the very end of the line' , I had imagined a long line of footballers graded from left to right in terms of their fear of footballs . Paulinho holds the space at the farthest right where the least committed , most spineless of footballers stand , well , tremble .

I should also point out that its entirely acceptable that this player spends a season dodging footballs ,playing badly and avoiding effort while collecting a king's ransom . Y'see he is above all criticism at Tottenham Hotspur because....

...He plays for Brazil .

Hope this helps, GK

One after another of those players expected to move have now come out to say they feel alright at Spurs. They must have heard very encouraging news about the new coach.

I can only guess that to them FdB is a much more attractive name than Poch.
